I really wanted to love this hotel. The staff? Absolutely exceptional—true 5-star service. Big shout out to Jermaine and the rooftop breakfast team. I really wanted to love this hotel. The staff? Absolutely exceptional—true 5-star service. Big shout out to Jermaine and the rooftop breakfast team. They go above and beyond, and they deserve every ounce of praise. And now, for the not-so-small matter of everything else. The rooms are disappointing. Worn, dated, and nowhere near the standard you’d expect for the price. More motel than hotel and not in a cute way. My “suite” had a fireplace in disrepair, and there’s no soundproofing to speak of—single-glazed windows and doors ensure you hear every sound, inside and out. But here’s the kicker: $500 a night, plus a $50 “resort fee,” for the privilege of having the pool closed on the only sunny day of the entire week—all for a photo shoot. As if that wasn’t audacious enough, the next morning, when I dared hope to use it, the area was still a construction zone since they’re setting up for a party the following night. Absolutely outrageous - drilling, vacuuming, construction workers running around. Food and beverage prices are eye-watering, as one might expect, and while the quality is decent, it’s hardly enough to salvage the experience. I will not be returning. This is a hotel that charges top-tier prices but disrespects its guests. Save your money and your expectations. Read less

Great vibe, amazing comfortable bed - lots of soft pillows.. think Fleetwood Mac romantic mixed with shab fashion surrealism - great roof top deck hangout/eatery, good service, and overall zen you'll like unless you're a snob who likes the Marriott

Comfy hotel. Spacious suites. Amazing rooftop. I also like that the hotel is secluded and feels private. Staff at front desk was always helpful and they paid attention to every detail. The gym is private as well, allowing guests to book for an hour at a time.

One of the best hotel stays we ever had. Stayed here a while back in June but just came across my note that I gotta leave a review! The reception staff downstairs were incredibly helpful with recommendations, accommodating our quirky request to put us in a specific room number, and tell us about all the things happening on the night. The reception staff downstairs were incredibly helpful with recommendations, accommodating our quirky request to put us in a specific room number, and tell us about all the things happening on the night. Loved every bit of it, and we will definitely back. Special thanks to Sabrina, and both Myles and Miles for making our stay special. Read less

THE ONLY PLACE TO STAY IN LA! A home away from home that you never will want to leave. I've been a long-time client of Petit, ever since I first visited LA in 2017. All I can say is that it just keeps getting better - the staff feel like family, and the property just stays quintessentially cool. The location is perfect - West Hollywood and right by Beverly Hills, Melrose, a short drive to the hills and hikes like Runyon Canyon. Also convenient if you need to head to the west side. Have stayed as a couple, with friends, and solo. The rooftop is still one of the absolute best spots to hang in LA - which the property takes super seriously, ensuring it stays private. As a hotel guest, this is an exceptional perk and I spend many happy hours hanging out there, throughout the day but also at night. Cool activities like film nights, an artist in residence, etc. No better place to see the sunset, sitting on the roof with a fire and one of the fur blankets when the sun goes down. Complimentary yoga on the roof every morning is another reason I would never stay anywhere else. Also the front desk cookies are my kryptonite. It's all in the small touches. Rooms are cosy and beds so comfortable. But most of all - the place wouldn't be what it is without the staff, who take such good care of you. The director of sales is a true gentleman, so kind and helpful with the best energy. He always goes the extra mile to add a personal touch and is so thoughtful. Troy, thank you. Also huge shoutouts to the amazing staff who take care of me - Tijana, Salome, Alex, Shae, Sima and Destiny in bookings - and many more. Will be back soon. Read less
