Studio Rooms are located in the tower and offer views of Mission Bay and downtown San Diego or Pacific Beach. They also feature a dining area, and private balcony, with 2 queen-size beds and a sofabed, sleeiping maximum 6 adults.

Suites offer direct access to Mission Bay's beach and boardwalk. They also feature a separate living area with pull-out sofa, dining room and balcony or patio, with either 1 king-size or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 6 adults.

Oceana Coastal Kitchen (open for breakfast, lunch and dinner), Moray's (open for lunch and dinner). Sunday Champgane brunch also available at Oceana Coastal Kitchen. Swimming pool and whirlpool. We'd been going to the this hotel as locals for over 20 years, and now, we stay here when we come back to town. It's location on the bay is great for small kids, there's a large grass area next the chairs on the bay. We'd been going to the this hotel as locals for over 20 years, and now, we stay here when we come back to town. It's location on the bay is great for small kids, there's a large grass area next the chairs on the bay. There's a rental area for water toys/bikes, an awesome outdoor dining area with great food and beverages, outdoor shower heads to help with removal of sand before packing up for the car. They always have activities (movie nights, luau's and Sunday brunches). When we booked our last room, Diante in reservations was very nice, accommodating and made sure we got the correct accommodations. The new remodel made a big difference as well. We love this place! Beautiful resort, fun activities for the whole family and good location. We went there for my son's 12th birthday and had a fun time on the beach. Diante was very helpful, professional and provided us with excellent customer when we had to adjust our reservations. A great getaway!

Another milestone visit to celebrate a family birthday. Time and time again we return to the Catamaran resort with loved ones to create memorable experiences! Beautiful bay views, easy beach access, great pool area with fun arcade, and well manicured tropical grounds make it easy to relax and enjoy. As much as the resort offers, we cannot say enough about Hitomi Kato and staff for always going the extra mile. We were once again greeted with welcome smiles and treated like royalty. Hitomi always finds a way to make our stay extra special with her personal touches. There are many choices of places to stay in San Diego, but it is the staff at the Catamaran led by Hitomi that will always keep us coming back! Read less

I've been to the Catamaran multiple times, and this time I'm planning a trip in March for my father's birthday. Renée Stauffer was the person I talked to to help me make my reservation. I wanted a room close to my family, as there are six of us gathering there, but also with a little bit of separation. She was so extremely helpful, and so friendly, and so nice. I can't tell you how nice it is to talk to somebody on the phone that is genuinely friendly and genuinely wants to help you in any way possible. She was absolutely lovely, and I wish every Hotel and Resort would have somebody like her answering the phones to help people out. Read less

I booked a stay at The Catamaran for family members and me for a birthday celebration. The Senior Reservations Agent, Renee, was fantastic in taking the time to explain the layout of the resort and the best rooms for the occasion.
