The valet service was prompt, professional, and friendly. It set a perfect tone for the evening. Brian helped us out very quickly. We then went to dinner at nobu and the experience was equally fantastic, with great food, attentive service, and a warm ambiance.

Used the valet here on my way to dinner and they were quick and efficient. Brian was very attentive. Would recommend to anyone who want quick parking and nice conversation. Picking up our car was just as fast and we really appreciated the service given.

Here's the deal, the stay itself was pleasant and the hotel is clean and well themed with the esthetic you would expect. The room was nice and the staff at the hotel was helpful and nice for that experience I would give 4 stars. Their fees and high priced mini bar were marked and most of the onsite extra costs were available.... The 1 star review comes in the way of the customer service following. Calling the 833 number plastered on the emails asking for more upgrades, goes to a general number that cannot help at all if you booked online with the hotel directly (apparently Hard Rock is not in charge of all Hard Rock Hotels) no 3rd party was used in this case (Trip Advisor, Expedia, etc.), after a frustrating phone call which is recorded and hopefully used for training, a number to the direct hotel after having to tell them 4 times what hotel was provided. The person at the HR San Diego was just as frustrating as the fees were discussed and she tried to educate me on a definition of the word deposit, as that is what the statement read, but she could not elaborate further if they were fees or sales tax. The full out arrogance and don't give a crap attitude from 3 separate agents of this organization is why I will likely never stay at a Hard Rock again and certain make the same recommendation to my friends, family, and colleagues at every opportunity. My sound advice is to not stay at the Hard Rock as there are plenty of other amazing places to stay especially in San Diego.

My daughter had her Sweet 16 birthday slumber party here. Everything was terrific, the rooms were nice and clean, the pool and cabanas were great. But the best thing was the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful, especially the people at the front desk. In particular, Emma. She went above and beyond to get us in the correct rooms and checked us in 3 hours early so we could begin the birthday festivities right away. I had to go down to the front desk for a variety of reasons in the courese of the weekend and she couldn't have been more helpful and kind.
The kids hung out at the pool during the day and the bartender and cabana wait staff couldn't have been nicer. Accomodating their endless requests for French fries and Dr. Peppers.
Everyone from the valets to the cleaning staff was extremely nice!
We had a wonderful stay!

Warning, the beds are only 1 foot off the floor and the water is scalding Hot.
Pour hot water in the coffee maker. You will have coffee in seconds instead of minutes.
The service is excellent and goes far beyond expectations.
Restaurant Staff and Bar Tenders are courteous and friendly.
