The hotel is lovely but…I called and booked the hotel the old fashion way, with a hotel reservations person. She was very kind and offered me a 4 Day package. She failed to tell me that I had to pay a daily resort fee $39 each day and a daily parking fee $43. even though there is street parking. Had I known this I would have gone some place… Read more

She failed to tell me that I had to pay a daily resort fee $39 each day and a daily parking fee $43. even though there is street parking. Had I known this I would have gone some place else. There is no coffee or microwave in their rooms. A bottle of water is $7. I did see guests come out to the pool in white robes but we were not provided with them. They said the pool was heated but we found the pool very cold. Read less

We had an amazing stay as well as in our banquet but Brianna made it 100x better. She was so attentive to us, she was funny, welcoming, and a great person all in all.. This stay was exactly what we needed and was a relaxing weekend for me and my partner. Would highly recommend!

This resort is beautiful and the rooms are spacious. My husband and I decided to do a getaway and this was the perfect place. Their dining facility, Covewood, is great. We’ve been frequenting Tutti Matti for years. Their Italian cuisine is authentic from Tuscany and environs where the chef studied and food is consistently delicious. We’ve been frequenting Tutti Matti for years. Their Italian cuisine is authentic from Tuscany and environs where the chef studied and food is consistently delicious. We start by sharing burrata and if small for sharing, it’s soft and divine. Our friends opt for salad- one with beets, the other green. They really enjoy these beginnings as it is a first time visit for both. We continue and I have “ pinci” a regular menu offering of pasta with wild boar. My husband orders the tagliatelle of duck, apples and squash. He feels it’s a bit heavy on the squash, otherwise great. One friend devours the special ravioli with ricotta. His wife has a new pasta with pistachios. She’s full from her beet salad and says she’s finding her pasta a bit rich. I admit I’m a little disappointed with the desert choices, a lemon tart and tiramisu.Although I decide on tiramisu and it’s a perfect tiramisu, I find it very creamy after my meal : not a great ending to my enjoyable mealThere are ice creams but I’ve had exquisite deserts here before so I’m a bit disappointed. However, my “ pinci” especially on a cold winter night overrides all my other thoughts. Our Barbarossa wine is great too. Read less

I stayed at this resort for a conference. And while I appreciate being there for a conference is a slightly difference experience, I can genuinely say this resort/hotel is not worth the price. The rooms are quite tired, and could use a complete revamp. The sound between rooms is as if there is no wall, we had to change rooms an hour after arriving because I could hear the child next door screaming - I assume the rooms with adjoining doors are a big problem for this. While the beds were clean, the beds weren't made up very well. A colleague in another room had mouldy food in one of the wicker baskets, and our first room had peeling paint on the ceiling. The sheer price of the food was extortionate, whether in the shop onsite, or in the restaurant. To be fair to the restaurant, the food was really excellent when we had one dinner there, but it would be incredibly expensive to eat there everynight. The hotel is not located near anything else, so you really need a car or to take an Uber to do anything else - eat, sightsee, shop etc. The pool is ok, but a bit sad and this resort definitely seems to be a place people go with children and just hang out around the pool. The beach is public, and a bit sad, and I certainly would not recommend swimming in the inlet water, it seems incredibly stagnant. There are no lifts to the rooms on the second floor, so be prepared if you have a lot of luggage. Having seen my colleagues room, there is also a big difference in what room you get - both rooms we had (the first one for an hour, then the one we changed to) had carpets, and a balcony. My colleague had a ground floor outside door room, hers was all tiled and had no view as the door to her room was also the door to her terrace. If you do stay, I would recommend make sure you have a good terrace or a balcony. Also, our second room looked out at the padel tennis courts and the motorway, so be aware you can absolutely hear the traffic. Overall, I would be furious if I had pay for this stay, rather than my company, so I wanted to give an honest review. Read less
