Fairmont San Francisco embodies the grandeur of this historic city. It effortlessly combines impeccable service with luxurious rooms and top-notch facilities. As it’s set high atop Nob Hill, you’ll enjoy great city views and can practically hop on the cable cars from outside the hotel. When it comes to eating, you’ll find some delicious local food at the hotel’s three restaurants. Why not treat yourself to traditional afternoon tea at the weekend or visit The Tonga Room & Hurricane Bar for, apparently, the best Mai Tai in the city.

Missing Wedding Ring, Naked Woman

I used the spa and was told to remove my jewelry right before a massage. I was given no place to put my items so I slipped them into the robe they supplied me. Long story short, they found my necklace in a washer machine, but not my wedding ring. There is a total lack of taking care of guest. I was so polite during the whole process until I realized that the management wrote me off, never reached out to me, and never replied to my email. Instead they had an employee who doesn't even work at the location talk to me. It felt very cowardice of the Fairmont and admin of the company. To top off my visit, after my massage I wasn’t told where to go. I opened the wrong door shocking a woman who was in a massage room exposed. We were both completely embarrassed by the situation. This just shows another level of the company not looking for the wellbeing of their guest.
I’m really disappointed how the admin handled and treated me and the situation, especially considering the amount of money I regularly spend with the company, in the thousands.

Birthday getaway back to the Bay Area

Visited SF for a lovely birthday getaway. We splurged on a suite at the Fairmont. It was worth every penny. We thoroughly enjoyed our corner Suite. We couldn’t stop looking at the west, north and east views. We lucked out on the blue sky filled weather. The spacious living room was great to relax in. Suite had a nice big bathroom with amazing…

We couldn’t stop looking at the west, north and east views. We lucked out on the blue sky filled weather. The spacious living room was great to relax in. Suite had a nice big bathroom with amazing water pressure. Appreciated the comfy robes. Enjoyed breakfast to the room twice. The omelettes, pastries and fruits were exceptional. Loved having quality coffee/Nespresso in the room. Housekeeping kept us refreshed, fluffed and folded every day. Room service staff were also exceptional. Enjoyed the Tonga room too. Fairly crowded and not super “traditional” tiki like in previous decades, but still fun. The Wiki Wiki drink was delicious.

NO HOT WATER

NO HOT WATER. We went for a very important appointment. Woke up Tuesday and the hotel had no hot water. So we were not able to get showered and ready for out appointment. The staff acted like it was no big deal. Had we been at the Days Inn, I would not be writing this review. But since we were spending a lot of money to stay at this…

An iconic landmark

Perfectly located at the top of Nob Hill, this hotel is iconic. The room was very comfortable and had great views of the Bay (when the sun broke through the fog) We enjoyed a beautiful dinner there and watched the moon rise from the very quiet outdoor gardens with our own bottle of wine.
A lovely hotel experience in San Francisco!

Excepional service levels, and a grand lobby atmosphere here. I oftentimes work on copy deadlines at 2, 3 or 4 am and I discovered a fabulous desk, tucked-away in the lobby-area to set up and work alongside my coffee cup. The room has fabulous views of SFO Bay and beyond. Great ammenties kit. Wde coved the sailing races, and reviewed eateries; a…
