Where is it

In downtown Chicago, 1 block away from Michigan Avenue with great shopping and restaurants. Close to Chicago Theatre, Millennium Park, Chicago Cultural Center, Theater District, Chicago River and Navy Pier. Transfer time from O'Hare International Airport: 1 hour.

Hotel information

250 rooms. All of which are two-chambered with a dressing room and a sleeping area separated by a sliding door. Facilities include air-conditioning, flat-screen HDTV, telephone, tea/coffee maker, mini-fridge, mini-bar, safe*, hairdryer and iron and board. Chamber Rooms are divided into two separate areas by sliding privacy doors - a dressing room and bedroom - with 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Grand Chamber Suites are slightly larger, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Valet parking $75 plus tax for 24 hours (payable locally, fee subject to change).

I love the Virgin. From the front desk to the housekeeping staff everyone is accommodating and NICE. Chad from the front desk thank you for working with me and my room needs. I came to visit for Xmas. I checked out the Mariah Carey pop up. I ate at Miss Ricky’s. I enjoyed myself!

Beautiful, unique and spacious hotel! We were pleasantly surprised at how unique our hotel room was. After travelling around the USA, we have stayed in many hotels with rooms that are plain, boring and lack imagination or character. We loved the thoughtfulness that has gone into making such an artistic and interesting hotel. The room service team went above and beyond! We placed an order but after waiting close to 90 minutes we thought we’d check in to see how it was going. The team admitted they had forgotten our order and profusely apologised. I was adamant that it was not a problem at all but they generously sent a plate of dessert for us to share to apologise! Amazing customer service! Read less

Really enjoyed my stay. Daryl and the staff are amazing folks. The rooms are super clean and have nice touches throughout. Loved the tea kettle in the room. The rain shower was rook cool. Look forward to staying here again. The train line nearby can be annoying when trying to go to sleep.

We had a city view room and it was lovely! Jordan and Antoine were amazing! Wonderful customer service and quick service with Valet. We also really enjoyed brunch at Miss Ricky’s! We love The Virgin and can’t wait to come back for another visit!
