Today, this National Historic Landmark has been turned into the equally grand Jekyll Island Club Hotel, where you get a taste of its Victorian heyday and the highlife, with historic tours, croquet on the lawn, dinner in the Grand Dining Room, and strolls along the beach or in the oak forests where Victorian high society would have taken their constitutionals. Great Christmas experience. The hotel and grounds were beautifully decorated. Our room had a view of the front lawn with the lights and Christmas tree. It was nice to see both older couples like ourselves and young families enjoying the Christmas lights and ambiance.

Lovely year round but Christmas at this historic property is magical. It is a tradition to go in December and see the beautiful lights, take a carriage ride and stay at Jekyll Island Club. Staff were kind, efficient and exceptionally helpful. Looking forward to continuing our annual Christmas visit.
