10/10 experience! The picture cannot do it justice. The views, the staff, the food (excellent buffet breakfast!) the experiences (kayaking with sea turtles and whales!), and having an incredible luau to attend right on our front lawn… do not skip out on this resort!

I highly recommend the Andaz for any occasion. We went for our babymoon and we had the best time. Upon arrival, you are warmly greeted and provided with a lei! Our room had a lovely view facing the ocean and the perfect location to watch every sunset. We took advantage of the activities including bamboo making, lei making, bingo, and the water activities. The breakfast buffet was incredible, everything was included from fresh juices and fruit, to savory items, fresh omelettes, oatmeal, yogurt, bagels, pastries and more! Each restaurant in the resort is great. At any point in time, we tried their breakfast, lunch and dinner and the food always tasted so fresh. There wasn't one bad meal. The ahi tuna poke I want to particularly call out for its beautiful presentation. I also had the opportunity to have a prenatal massage at the Spa and the staff made me feel so comfortable and answered any questions I had. Speaking of staff, the staff is extremely friendly and just wants to make sure you have a great stay. The concierge is very helpful in planning out our activities and restaurant recommendations. We also loved our photo session through Pacific Dream Photography that you can do through the hotel. They captured such wonderful photos to remember our babymoon. Thank you for such a special week and we can't wait to be back! Read less

Beautiful modern hotel in Wailea. Nice entry and lobby, with expansive views of the grounds. Although rooms are small, they are expertly laid out to take advantage of every inch. But still very small for Maui and you feel cramped. Had an ocean view room which was nice with small but nice deck with decent view. Grounds are beautiful although really dense as the buildings are packed in. There are several pool areas, but again really packed in. Really enjoyed the morning yoga class as it’s done on a nice grassy area next to the ocean. Read less

Our first time to Maui and we were really happy that we chose the Andaz. We walked around and peeked into the other resorts and kept saying that the Andaz was the best! We will be coming back. Our room with a terrace and view of the ocean was quiet, beautiful, the bed was super comfortable, pillows were exceptional, loved the big bathroom and plunge bathtub. I really enjoyed the layout of the room and also the hotel as well. All of the infinity pools were so pretty. And nice and warm and not crowded. Except for the Jacuzzi. I feel like they need another Jacuzzi. It was too crowded to go into at night. I would say the only thing I wasn’t happy with was the fitness room. It wasn’t big enough. It was very crowded and there was no place for someone to put a mat down and do floor exercises so that was my only disappointment. I’m not sure if there was a separate quiet yoga room I could’ve used? Also the breakfast buffet was really good but not extravagantly impressive compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at, but it had pretty much everything I wanted in a breakfast and I did enjoy everything that I had each day. Food was really delicious. Actually now having written that, I do appreciate the less extravagant breakfast buffet as it is better for the environment and most likely avoids unnecessary food waste and I know sustainability is a goal of the Andaz. I very much loved that we were given a water bottle when we checked in and refilled it at stations. That was genius and made me really appreciate the values of the hotel. in Waikiki, the Moana Surfrider gives unlimited Aquafina bottles to each guest and I can’t imagine the waste/expense/damage to the environment flying in probably millions of water bottles and then having to recycle them! So I take back my comment about the breakfast! It was perfect. I would rather there not be food wasted. We are already looking forward to our next visit, and breakfast. Read less

We had a great time at the resort. The activities that are included in the resort fee are pretty great (Kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling, canoeing etc..). The beach right out front was wonderful and we saw many whales and brilliant sunsets from the pool.
