Enjoy spectacular all-oceanfront accommodation and world-class service at the Hawaii Prince Hotel, one of Waikiki’s most desirable addresses! Boasting floor-to-ceiling windows, panoramic views of the Ala Wai Yacht Harbour and Pacific Ocean are second to none – make sure you’re around at sunset, because they get pretty breathtaking around here! What’s really unique about this stunning hotel is the five-story base that this hotel sits on which is home to restaurants, an open-air lounge, lobby, shops, everything you need for the perfect holiday. If you’re a golf enthusiast, things get even better – the 27-hole course set on Oahu’s sunny Ewa Plain, is the only one of its kind in Hawaii. Enjoy a complimentary shuttle service to and from it courtesy of the hotel and a meal at the Bird of Paradise restaurant, open for lunch and cocktails. If you’d rather be pampered, a trip to the Yamano Day Spa is recommended, specialists in ‘aesthetics’, this relaxation technique will chase any lingering cares away! Dining is varied with plenty of options on offer, kick-starting in Reef Lounge perhaps – Waikiki’s newest contemporary lounge serving great martinis.

no aloha nice facility

The location and facilities are quite nice. However, the customer service was terrible. There was no humanness in the experience. I had a couple of different problems and there was no solution just constantly saying I’m sorry and this is that and the rooms are very expensive. It would’ve been nice too Have some real aloha in customer care which I…

The PRINCE is our FAVE HNL accommodation

We stayed in a suite for four in the Ala Mo Wana tower. Such a beautiful and comfortable hotel; easily our best Oahu experience (of about 5 trips so far) and where we will probably go each and every time we visit HNL from now on.
The way the room is set up, you walk in the door with two distinct areas that we called the "kids' area" (for our two teens) and "our area" (two 50-something Gen-X parents):
- To the left of the entry is the kids' area: a bathroom (single sink, tiled shower stall, separated toilet with washlet), wet bar then a main living area with a table for four, sofa bed, TV stand/dresser, nice comfy chair and a HUGE openable window with a great western ocean view.
- To the right of the entry door is the closet, then the master bathroom (two sinks, bathtub with shower and separate toilet with washlet) and further in is the king bed, TV stand/dresser, L-shaped couch with table, a desk, and ditto with the windows.
What we and the kids really liked was the sense of having two individual yet connected areas. We had our space, they had theirs, total space is something like 800 sq. ft. or so.
Room amenities included a drink station (tea/coffee), two safe drawers (one lockable drawer in each space), two mini fridges, water bottles (with unlimited refills at a bunch of stations throughout the hotel), GREAT power options for device charging, motor powered blinds, thermostats for each area, good TV options including Netflix, free Wi-Fi that actually worked well and MANY more.
The only thing we didn't like was the lack of options for dining. The primary restaurant is expensive and a per person basis ($50-$100USD each). 100 Sails had really good food, but we honestly only tried it because we had a resort credit.
There's also a sushi place and a coffee shop, but we tried neither. Fortunately, there are so many nearby options throughout the area that there are unlimited options for any budget.
Bottom line is we were the happiest we've EVER been at any hotel option in the relative area (i.e., not being directly in Waikiki but further west) and we'll be there the next time we go to HNL.

One of our favorite hotels!

We first stayed at the Waikiki Prince many years ago for our Anniversary. The service was great! We loved it from our first stay and we still love it. We try to stay at least once a year. It’s at a convenient location for us. We never get tired of the view. We look forward to next stay at the Prince. :o)
Absolutely the place to stay in Waikiki

Not an inexpensive place, but we got a pretty good deal with their Black Friday special. The only opps was that they had a parking fee on our bill at check-out when we did not have a rental car. Just check your bill carefully when you check out. Things can happen during the busy holiday season, so I give them a pass on this opps. The clerk was very good about removing the charge.
