Image of the Tripadvisor rating Hotel double billed me and would not refund!

Dec 25, 2024 Edward L

The hotel staff billed me incorrectly! They double charged me for my stay and would not refund me! I tried to call numerous times but the staff would not listen or refund me. I am owed over $500 from them because of this billing error! Would love if someone from the hotel can contact me to correct this.

Fine luxury hotel with a few minor flaws. This is a newish hotel and the rooms reflect that. The bathrooms are wonderful with a separate shower and bathtub. The vanity is large with 2 faucets. The main issue is that it takes minutes before hot water flows in the shower. And even then it isn't totally hot. The bedding is superior and my room had a fabulous view of the mountains. In the winter, when they are snowcapped, this is a superior view to the strip. One small issue is that there in a spiked spiral ornament on the headboard above the beds for interior design. I wasn't a fan of this as it occurred to me that if there was a jarring event, it might come unglued and impale me. But I eventually got over that. Still, it wasn't my style. Overall, it was a high quality room with surfaces finished in marble. Housekeeping was excellent and timely in cleaning the room. I appreciate this and that team deserves credit. By the way, pictures in the hallway are from Napolean's Fountainbleau in Paris. Many guests did not recognize this, so I'd like to point it out. The gym was excellent and not too crowded. It had free weights, all sorts of cardiovascular equipment, mats for stretching etc. They close at 7pm and I suggest they stay open to 8pm because quite a few of us were still in the gym at 7. In the winter, an ice skating rink opens in the pool area and this was quite popular. Still, one pool remains open, and while small, it was heated to perfection. Some say the hotel is a bit far from the main strip. I did not find this to be the case as the Resort Worlds, Encore, and Wynn, as well as the Convention Center and Fashion Mall are not far away. And the traffic in the area is reasonable. This contrasts with the traffic in front of the Bellagio where you have to wait for the signal to change 7 times before you can move forward. I ate mostly offsite, so I can't comment on the restaurants. And unfortunately, I did not game this time because it was a short excursion. This is an aside, but if one is interested in a nice bottle of wine/champagne for the room, head to Wally's at the Resort World across the street where the selection is comme il faut. And for Las Vegas, the prices are reasonable. Or for quick Mexican food, look for Tacos el Gordo down the block where the lines are long but the food is good. I plan on returning. Read less

Nice hotel with very good looking accommodations. Lackluster casino floor especially compared to Wynn, Venetian and many others. Location excellent to get to Convention Center, West Hall in particular but not hard to take loop to others. Spa is most expensive on the strip though very nice. The hotel was perfection down to every little detail. The bed was super comfortable, the restaurants were classy and great food. The spa exceeded my expectations. The Christmas trees and decorations throughout the casino and hotel were beautiful. Definitely a 5* hotel.

There are many great things about staying at this hotel. The rooms are big and clean, with full tubs and super comfy beds. The spa is hands down one of my favorite experiences in Vegas. However, you can't get a glass of wine for under $30, half the restaurants were closed, and overall you are just a little far away from the rest of the action on… Read more
