The staff was extremely friendly and kind, and our room was very clean. We enjoyed the spacious and fully equipped gym, which offered every piece of exercise equipment imaginable. The hotel also featured a variety of excellent dining options, and every meal we had—from breakfast to dinner—was delicious, though on the expensive side, which is to be expected in Las Vegas. However, we did encounter a few issues during our stay. There was confusion among the hotel staff regarding the amenities at the guest pool; multiple staff members informed us there were no private showers, but we later found several near the guest pools in the restrooms. Given that the pool had only recently opened for guests, the hotel should ensure staff are fully aware of its amenities. Additionally, the spa seemed extremely overpriced, even compared to New York City and the Los Angeles metropolitan area where I live. The hotel is located at the far end of the Strip, making it less lively than some of the larger hotels and casinos, and it doesn’t offer as many casino options as other hotels in the area. Despite these drawbacks, we would consider staying here again. Read less

I was nervous about booking this hotel as i had never heard of it and it seemed a bit further out (opposite circus circus) but I couldn't have been more thrilled..... it was perfect and the location for me personally was amazing....... I found the centre of the strip almost felt a bit too hectic and this hotel was slightly out the way of all the craziness but easily accessible on the duece bus or via a cab. The hotel was just incredible. Brand new. Beautiful room. Most fancy hotel and room I have ever stayed in infact. Stunning pool and hotel interior. I would stay again in a heart beat. Even the smell of this hotel as you walk in is just incredible. Lovely staff. Thank you fountainblue, one of the best trips ever......x Read less

The Fontainebleau is a gem of a property. The rooms are clean, well appointed and have very comfortable pillows and bed. Every detail was striking and beautiful! I will never think of Vegas in the same way again. I was there for business, got in late and left early so desperately need to get back for my own personal enjoyment and experience all that the fontainebleau has to offer (which is a lot!)
Image of the Tripadvisor rating A Major Room Problem, With No Help from the Hotel

TL DR: had a major problem with my room during my 1 night Fontainebleau stay 12/29. The front desk at checkout said a manager would "get back to me" about a refund, but I've heard nothing from them. I've NEVER asked for a room refund before, but this situation warrants it. I stayed for one night last month, 12/29, having booked through Amex… Read more
TL DR: had a major problem with my room during my 1 night Fontainebleau stay 12/29. The front desk at checkout said a manager would "get back to me" about a refund, but I've heard nothing from them. I've NEVER asked for a room refund before, but this situation warrants it. I stayed for one night last month, 12/29, having booked through Amex Platinum's Fine Hotel and Resorts program. I really enjoyed the hotel; service was wonderful, beautiful space and great food. However, the room had a major problem, in that the lights wouldn't work. It's one of those fancy modern lighting systems, like at Wynn, where everything is controlled by a panel on the wall, labeled "all on," "all off," "low," "drapes open," etc. My room was apparently broken, because when we needed the lights on in the evening, they would stay on for a few minutes, then turn off. We'd have to continually turn them back on to get ready to go down for dinner. I called down to the front desk, but by the time the technician came up, I was in the middle of getting ready, and since the lights had been on for more than a few minutes, figured the problem was resolved, so sent him away so I could keep getting dressed and head down for dinner. However, he did say someone would take a look at the electronics outside the room and troubleshoot to fix the problem. I figured that would be it... Unfortunately, when we came back up around 10:30pm to head to bed (we needed to get up for a drive to Salt Lake City the next morning), the opposite problem happened: THE LIGHTS WOULDN'T STAY OFF. Trying to sleep, we'd have to continually turn the lights back off, but a minute or two later, they would pop back on. I called down to the front desk again (the agent had the temerity to suggest to me that I could "just sleep in" since Amex's FHR program includes late checkout), and they sent up a technician. So around 11:30pm or so, a technician came in and took a look, unscrewed a few lamp bulbs, but still couldn't get the lights to stay off. He was apologetic and said he'd escalate it and get another tech up right away, that night, so we could sleep. So I waited up another 45 minutes, but the next tech never came, and I finally just laid down and slept the best I could with the lights on. The next morning, I headed to the front desk. The agent was kind and said she could see the notes about the trouble in my account, and went to talk to someone higher up about the room refund I requested. She came back and said the manager would "get back to me" about a refund, and it would take 2-3 days. The only thing she was able to do was waive my resort fee for that night, which I appreciated. The manager has yet to get back to me. It's unfortunate, because otherwise I really enjoyed the hotel and thought the rest of the service was wonderful. I'm currently working with Amex concerning a refund. Read less
