Amazing staff

Stayed here for a week with my friends from the UK. Very attentive staff, especially from Lynn who made sure we had everything needed for our stay. She was incredibly attentive and helpful and a true asset to the hotel! The beds were comfy and the facilities were clean and modern.
Loved it

The stay was okay, laundry services where available. Room was cleaned every 2 days. Ran out of soap, they sent up more straight away after a phone call. Service was good, room was good. After checkout Lynn was absolutely amazing, she was attentive and made the checkout process really fun. She was great to talk to and she made the stay for me.
Great location

Great location, and very helpful staff, Lynn in the front lobby was very helpful. While I was in on business, everything is so close that I was able to see a few shows without missing any meetings. Will be back again when ever I’m traveling to NY.

If you're gold or diamond with Hilton you get a $10 food credit, but we were told that breakfast is $32, which is a disappointment. We skipped using the credit and the breakfast, so I have no idea how it is, but I did look at the buffet and it seemed very ordinary for the price (I know that it's NYC).
The room was clean and adequate (small, of course). The bathroom sink was very slow draining so probably clogged and requiring service. That was a bit inconvenient.
Check in and check out, our only interactions with the staff, were very transactional. We didn't feel welcomed in the slightest. Having visited the city many, many times, in my experience most New Yorkers are really friendly and gregarious, but the interactions we got were much more like the unfriendly stereotype that you sometimes hear about.

Try to cancel and they will charge you!

Do not stay at this property or even make a reservation. If something is wrong at their property that would affect your stay, they will let you cancel the reservation, but still charge you $170 to do so. I canceled 5 days before the trip and as a HH member and someone who travels a lot, this has never been an issue. Kimberly at the front desk was …
