My mum & I stayed here for four nights. It was great that we could have a room with two double beds. The room was perfectly fine for what we needed. It was clean & there was a fridge & a hairdryer. On one ocassion we didn't have clean towels (there wasn't anywhere for them to dry so unfortunately we needed new towels each day) or our coffee refilled but after speaking to reception this was sorted. We were really pleased that we could have a late checkout on our last day. The staff were friendly & helpful. The lifts can be difficult at busy times but we got used to waiting a short while. The hotels location is perfect. It can be a bit noisy at night but again, you do get used to the outside noise. The outside area was cleaned everyday. The bar next door is good & they kindly did us some drinks to take to our room. My only small criticism of the hotel is that I emailed them a couple of times before our stay with some questions but I never received a reply. It is possible that the email address I was given wasn't the correct one for the hotel but I didn't receive any notifications to say this was the case. Overall we were really happy with our stay & would stay here again.

Room a little small but perfect for our trip. Hotel staff were helpful and polite. Room cleaned daily. Yes there were homeless outside of hotel who gave us no trouble at all. They always said hello and most mornings we bought them a hot drink and had a chat with them.

The hotel was clean, my room was quite small, but adequate. Everything was fine until the water stopped. I went without water for 12 hours, then without hot water for over 24 hours. The front desk seemed clueless as to what was happening. They could provide no guidance or any alternatives. They said the whole hotel was without water.

This is a big busy city and if a few homeless people make you anxious then perhaps best to stay at home.
