This hotel went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Everyone at front desk, bell hops, security and house keeping were attentive, polite and ready to help. I just returned from New York City, along with a friend. We both loved our stay. She was impressed with the nice linens. Each of our beds and pillows were so comfortable. We made sure to have a walk in shower, which was wonderful. We had housekeeping every day. We did not ask for it, but she would come in the morning, as soon as we left. I… Read more

I love coming back to a clean room, with fresh towels, and a made bed. The one part I want to stress is safety. I have stayed here many times, and I always feel safe. You have to always show your room key to get on the elevator. The part I find exceptional is that so many of the same employees have been there for years. One last thing is that they give you breakfast coupons. We had a wonderful breakfast every morning. Read less

Always a pleasure to stay here in the theater district with easy access to transit and only a couple blocks away from Restaurant Row in Hell's Kitchen, and the room rates are a super reasonable value for the quality of the stay and the convenience of the location. The hotel is comfortable and well appointed with a lot of personality, stylish Art Deco interiors, and skilled, competent staff with calm and cheerful attitudes. Staying in a unique and hospitable hotel like the Edison makes our NYC trips feel extra special. When we stay here we always feel like welcomed *guests* of the hotel and its restaurants, not just customers. Read less

This was not our first stay at the Edison as it is our go-to place for staying in NYC. The location is optimal making it easy to be in the Theatre District or an easy walk to the upper west side, Central Park area or down to the Flat Iron District for the Chelsea Food Market, High Line etc. We notice that there is little to no turnover in staff and we are remembered and welcomed every time we go - from the doormen Bobby, Gio and Marco to the front desk Tex or Marco. When we go with our family members, where they like 2 queen beds and us for 1 king, our rooms are well appointed, clean with very comfortable beds and crisp linens and towels. We also love that Friedman’s restaurant is right off the lobby and so convenient for breakfast (quick service!) or other time if day. We highly recommend the Edison for our friends and family.
