WOW this hotel is amazing, the rooms are a good size and clean we had a penthouse room but saw other rooms and they were also good. All the staff we encountered were lovely but Raffeal on reception went above and beyond,he checked in on us daily and gave us some great advice about travel and places to visit. Make the effort to get up early to see sunrise at Brooklyn bridge and sunset at little islands Read less

This is a really great hotel, great location, in the heart of the action, close to plenty of bars and restaurants, Macy’s down the end of the block, and a subway station for getting around. Room was very nice, plenty big enough for 2, on a higher floor so noise was kept to the usual sirens. The one main negative for us, the bar was closed every… Read more

Room was very nice, plenty big enough for 2, on a higher floor so noise was kept to the usual sirens. The one main negative for us, the bar was closed every evening of our stay, for private functions. I understand it’s Xmas and this is a great space for a party, however it’s Xmas for the guests too, it would have been so nice to be able to relax in the hotel bar after a long day sightseeing, deciding where to go that evening, but that wasn’t possible, didn’t spoil our stay but did think it wasn’t very poor not to have provisions for guests. But, would I return or recommend it to others, absolutely I would. Read less

The hotel is nothing special other than it’s central to a lot of things. The rooms are “compact” as is the shower room. So compact there is nowhere for the waste-bin to go without it getting in the way. The bed was fine, the pillows though are not of a quality I’d expect, think lots of pieces of foam in a pillowcase. The room was cleaned to… Read more

The room was cleaned to a high standard. $30 a day charge on top of the room rate is excessive but you can get tea/coffee/water/snacks at any time from the 2nd floor although not all snacks/drinks are available all day. Didn’t really interact with the staff so can’t really comment. Would I revisit, no, but then I’d never come back to NY. The smell of weed everywhere, queuing to get into restaurants, 20% added onto all bills just isn’t for me. Read less

The hotel is great with good sized rooms for Midtown, and a perfect location close to some of the tourist traps and a number of subway stations. The food and drink at the bar and attached restaurant are great and it's the perfect place to base yourselves when in New York. The staff though are absolutely outstanding and really make the experience. In particular, Jon deserves a special shout out for helping me to organise proposing to my partner on the hotel's rooftop terrace but all the staff were terrific. We cannot recommend the hotel highly enough Read less

Nice hotel in a good location. Room cleaned daily. Tea and coffee supplies in room. Air con/heating in room. 6th floor room facing the front. Could get noisy at times but didn’t bother us personally. Staff polite and pleasant enough. Overall good stay.
