Jean, David, Michelle and Luis all went above and beyond in every way. We've been to other hotels in the city and the rooms are small and sketchy. But this place is spacious, conveniently located, safe, and has a staff that will definitely make you feel at home. Need a cool bar to take clients to? Luis will hook you up. Need a taxi in the pouring rain? Jean is your guy. Need to get to the airport fast and avoid the typical BS? David will run every scenario to ensure you aren't late. And Michelle has the patience of an angel. I watched her calmly address two disgruntled guests at the front desk with a cool head. Considering how rude and unfamiliar they were with the basics of staying at a hotel, she should have won an award in customer service.
Even housekeeping took it to the next level. We had the "don't disturb" sign up, but I asked for a couple of towels so we had some fresh ones for that night. I don't have her name, but she was so sweet and provided us with towels, wash clothes, and even swapped out our trash in like 2 seconds so we'd be taken care of quickly.
It's the little things that add up to great reviews. Keep up the GREAT work and give your hiring manager a fat raise. It seemed like this group of folks had been there forever and really enjoyed their jobs. Such a great thing to experience first-hand.
