The hotel and city break was fantastic . I rated this 1 star due to over charging otherwise it was great We arrived 23rd November till 2nd December , on our return I have just received my visa statement and the hotel took £350 approx $480 which is disgusting .. this was charged on the 23rd November. I rated this 1 star due to over charging otherwise it was great We arrived 23rd November till 2nd December , on our return I have just received my visa statement and the hotel took £350 approx $480 which is disgusting .. this was charged on the 23rd November. I booked this hotel on the trip advisor reviews being good although I have just googled the hotel on overcharging and this seems to be an occurrence. At no point was i informed of this and this has been charged without my knowledge. I have emailed the hotel , won’t hold my breathe on a reply . I will be contacting my bank regarding this .. Typical NYC boutique hotel. Tiny, expensive room. We were told it was a suite, but it was not. It was one room with 1 queen size bed and one loveseat which made a twin bed. Typical NYC boutique hotel. Tiny, expensive room. We were told it was a suite, but it was not. It was one room with 1 queen size bed and one loveseat which made a twin bed. It was also walking distance from the Empire State Building, Hudson Yards, Macy's, Central Park and many popular restaurants. The staff was very warm and friendly. I liked that there was a kitchenette with microwave, mini fridge and dishes and cutlery to use and also a stove if you wanted to cook. A full, well stocked kitchen. The room was also a good size for New York and a good price point for all that was offered. Breakfast was also included. My only recommendation would be to allow breakfast to go on later, but the staff gave people a heads up when they were going to close off. Also if you miss it, there a plenty of restaurants nearby. Housekeeping and general cleanliness great. Water always available, friendly front desk staff and got a map from them on my first day when I enquired about the subway.. Breakfast was our highlight as Rozina was super amazing and attentive. She made our stay the best and the food variety was just right especially for vegetarians. Showers and water perfect, bathroom door sliding but not easy to use. Our room was large enough for 3 of us and 3 suitcases. Comfy bed and sofabed and pillows. Lovely kitchen facilities ( micro, dishwasher, fridge, dishes cutlery etc ). Good location, some outside noise but too tired from being out all day that it didn't bother. Read less
