Reviews are accurate. Rooms are dated and not super clean. When it would snow, our windows would leak despite them being locked shut. Location is great and we aren’t at the hotel much so it was fine. If you like a modern/updated hotel, I wouldn’t recommend this one.
Great location, everything else is category 2

Bathroom with small standing shower. Turn knob towards cold for hot water. Noise travels through doors and walls. Complimentary water bottle for guests with status requires that you get the bottles yourself from downstairs marketplace and tell them your status as well as room number, or you will be charged. Complimentary water bottle for guests with status requires that you get the bottles yourself from downstairs marketplace and tell them your status as well as room number, or you will be charged. Minimal amenities shampoo, conditioner, hand lotion, hand soap bar and plastic cups only. Discuss if you have diet restrictions…there is no guest access to microwave. Great location but everything else is not a category 4 experience

This hotel is tired and has seen better days. The rooms were dull and had very basic amenities. You are provided with paper cups to make any hot drinks in your room. Some of the furniture was broken and falling apart and our room did not match the description of the one we paid for. We asked to be moved and the girl was unimpressed, but willing to allow it. Our new room was a bit bigger, but still not like the promotional photos. After travelling for 22 hours, we decided to not pursue the matter any more and accepted the room. We had a few issues with the power cutting out and not being able to get the shower on or having hot water. They were not happy when we were pointing these issues out, however they did send people to fix it. In general, staff were quite unpleasant and rude. It felt like speaking to you was a bother for them.
Outside of the hotel looks awful. Parts of it are boarded up and look like an abandoned building. It wasn't very well lit at night which made it feel unsafe given the characters that were allowed to hang around outside.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice place to stay. If you're looking for the absolute basic standard, then this would be fine.

Great location however the additional fees need to be highlighted for other U.K./European guests. This hotel charges for things that are a standard/free in Europe.
- $39 per night ‘resort fee’ to pay for basic things like WiFi/ phone calls.
- $100 per night deposit required. This meant that as soon as we checked in the hotel wanted almost…

-$4 per bag storage fee if your flight is later in the day and you want to leave bags
Room was tired and needed a bit of TLC: graffiti on walls; stained bedsheets; peeling wallpaper; scratched desk.
I don’t like leaving bad reviews, I wish I had better to say. The holiday was still really fun because of the location, and at the end of the day that is the most important thing.
