We had a wonderful experience at the Hyatt House! Beautiful nighttime views of the city and the Space Needle. CLEAN. Front desk staff and all staff that we encountered were very helpful, informative, friendly, and accommodating. The only thing that was less than wonderful was the in-room phone. I received a phone call from the front desk alerting me to the delivery of my pizza, and when I picked it up there was no sound. It may have been operator error, but maybe the phone was not working properly. It did not affect the overall experience. The free breakfast was AMAZING! It was, by far, the BEST breakfast selection I have ever seen at any hotel. I will be staying at this hotel any time I need to stay in Seattle! Read less

Unusually disappointing for a Hyatt. I heard they were renovating, so some of this might be affected by that. Slowest elevator in town. Getting back and from the 6th floor was an ordeal every time - wait time from five to eight minutes were the norm. Only one elevator was working. This really ruined the stay. Getting back and from the 6th floor was an ordeal every time - wait time from five to eight minutes were the norm. Only one elevator was working. This really ruined the stay. Our room was worn, there was broken caulking and mold in the bathroom, the barn door going into the bathroom screeched and squeaked very loudly. One of the kitchen drawers would not close, the entry door did not auto-close fully. Room definitely need some refreshing. The website advertised food was available in the bar. We were informed at check in that they had no cook, therefore no food. Had this been mentioned up front we would have booked elsewhere. There is no daily maid service unless you ask (and they have someone to do it). And would it break the profit margin to put a couple of bottles of water in the room? It's the little things that make a big difference. Read less

While this was a bit alarming, the other parts of the room were clean and everything worked. There is no full-length mirror in the room, which would have been helpful, but we made due without. I stayed here for a kraken game. Perfect place to walk across the park to the game. The room was spacious. The gym was very good as well. It is in walking distance to restaurants and bars. Parking is in another hotels parking garage a block away but that was only a minor inconvenience.
