The beds were good (and I'm picky about beds). Glad we could have our dog with us! The toilet/shower room was a little darker than anticipated. Needed a brighter light or something. We were in downtown facing the street, and at 6am Trax street cars going down the tracks were my alarm.

My room was very large and well-equipped for my 1-night stay. Comfortable bed and living space. Ideal facilities for a solo traveler with a helpful front desk, filling breakfast with many options, simple (paid) parking, and navigable shared spaces. Ideal facilities for a solo traveler with a helpful front desk, filling breakfast with many options, simple (paid) parking, and navigable shared spaces. Great for passing through the area or a base for exploring the city. The windows were not as soundproof as I would have expected for a hotel of this pricing and otherwise high standards. My room was on the front street and the constant whirring sound from the metro tracks was very audible. It did not keep me awake but I was surprised to hear it. Read less

I attended a concert with my nephew and stayed one night. This is a great hotel that is across the street from the Delta Center. Clean room and awesome breakfast. The hot tub, pool and excercise room are also awesome. This was my fourth time staying here and I will be back again.

Recommend staying elsewhere. Check in staff were horribly rude and unprofessional. I emailed the hotel a month before I came and asked for early check in. No one ever responded. Recommend staying elsewhere. Check in staff were horribly rude and unprofessional. I emailed the hotel a month before I came and asked for early check in. No one ever responded. Before I showed up (infant in tow after a 5 hour drive) I called and again requested an early check in - mind you it was 2 hours early, not like the whole day- and they told me to call when I was on my way even though I already told them I was on the way. When I showed up, the check in lady Katerina told me she was giving the room to someone else who had been waiting for a room despite me having emailed and called ahead requesting a 2 hour early check in. She told me they no longer have any king rooms available and when I asked what else was available she said ‘oh, I don’t know, nothing’. I asked her when the room should be done and she said she didn’t know, maybe 2-3 hours? She then proceeded to try to help the customer behind me without even finishing up with me. The lady behind me gestured to me saying ‘she was here first’ and I asked Katerina where we should park the car. At that time, she got on the radio and asked housekeeping when a king room would be done. (mind you, we are literally like 20 minutes of back and forth conversation at this point where several times she left the desk while we were talking)… the housekeeping said ‘we have plenty of king rooms, room 601, 602, 604’ and the housekeeping kept rattling off clean rooms that were available. Without apologizing for giving me the run around, she checked me into room 601- giving me the key and finishing the check in process. When we got to room 601, it was ice cold. We had a 1 year old baby with us and we found out then that the heating in the room didn’t work and the thermostat reported the indoor temperature at 60 degrees. After the hellish check in process, we just bundled up our baby in blankets and sweaters and counted down till check out time. I recommend going elsewhere. Very unfriendly staff but Salt Lake City itself is gorgeous Read less

The hotel is great. The room is nice, clean and large. There is a separate desk to work on. The included breakfast was better than I expected. The hotel is great. The room is nice, clean and large. There is a separate desk to work on. The included breakfast was better than I expected. The scrambled eggs was average, but I liked being able to make a breakfast burrito with the provided tortilla and salsa. Apparently, the hotel is near the Delta Center, so possibly a great spot for attending basketball games. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The only downsides are that there is no door to close the sink area off from the rest of the room. So after I used the bathroom in the late evening, I couldn't turn on the light when washing my hands because it could wake up my family. Read less
