The staff is impeccable, starting with the super friendly Jennifer at the front desk, she was amazing, as was Maria. Obie, Josh and Joel with special events, Ezekiel with F&B, guest experience manager Binny was awesome, and Michael K made everything happen and was the best to work with. Bonus is the location, Navy Yard, very safe, fun and happening neighborhood. Really was a special experience, can't wait to return.

Delightful stay supported by incredible staff. As a Globalist in the World of Hyatt, I was thoroughly impressed. Loved the property, the food, and the location. This is my new favorite in DC. Convenient walk to the Capitol Hill. Many restaurants around. Highly recommended!
As always, a great stay. Nice location.

As always, the Hyatt was great. The accommodations were nice, and the staff was super helpful, the front desk especially. I didn't get a chance to use them, because it rained the entire time, but they even had two e-bikes at the front desk to use for free. The breakfast restaurant was very good. Unfortunately the roof-top restaurant was closed for a private event the one night I actually wanted to try it out, but that happens at Christmas time.
Location was fine, with Uber taking only about 7-8 minutes to get to the Capitol building, although it sure seemed to be a long wait for Ubers to arrive at the hotel sometimes. All in all, great hotel.

A poor excuse for a Thompson.

6th floor corner room was insanely LOUD. Both outside noise (street conversation, vehicles, etc.) and inside noise (doors closing, conversation in the hall, etc.) disturbed us throughout the stay. The bars and restaurant were closed 75% of the time. The staff was haughty. The gym is a joke. This is the worst Thompson I've stayed at. Skip.
excellent stay in a good location

Great stay and good location for us. We found the room to be very clean, comfortable bed, modern amenities (funky elevator took a little getting used to.) So nice to have area rugs and cleanable flooring. Great lobby staff. Our only complaint was that the breakfast/brunch restaurant on site did not match the level of the rest of our stay.
