The hotel

Where is it

On a white sand beach, half way between Cancun and Playa del Carmen, close to attractions such as archeological sites, the world's second largest coral reef, the quaint fishing town of Puerto Morelos and lots of shopping. Transfer time from airport: 15 minutes.

Preferred Club Junior Suite Beach Front Swim Out have direct swim-out access to a semi-private pool, beachfront views, and preferred club benefits, with 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children (up to 12 years).

Preferred Club Master Suite Ocean Front have a separate living room, a large balcony with ocean views, and preferred club benefits, with 1 king-size bed and sofa bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 1 child (up to 12 years).

The resort was very dated. Requires a HUGE reno. Excluding the Indigo portion. The staff was outstanding. Very friendly and helpful. Very happy with receiving any kind of tip. Food and beverage was excellent. Adults only pool was really nice. Great service and friendly staff. Premium beverages with a smile.

Wonderful resort. Donovan at Portofino made our trip memorable. He is hard working and cares so much about making everyone happy and helping them have a great vacation. I’m sure we will be back. This is our second trip and it won’t be our last.
