Guests staying in the Mexican state Quintana Roo are required to pay a travel tax of $11 per adult (over 15 years old). Food- was good not as good as our last trip in 2020 before Covid
Entertainment- has improved
Negative- 3 of 6 rooms were musty, cool water in shower. The buildings definitely need major renovations!
Overall a great trip with friends but they need to start major repairs

Roberto, Osvaldo, and Otto were absolutely wonderful. We had such a wonderful time! Everyone was so kind and attentive. The resort was stunning as well, the blue lobby was easy to navigate and everyone at the resort was delightful. We had so much fun for the week

This is our second time to Hard Rock Riviera Maya. The restaurants/food were amazing as well as the service. The service at Wai (Thai) was excellent!! We were there for my husbands 50th and they made it extra special. Nico, Frank and Chef Rene- HUGE THANK YOU!! The waiters by the pool in Heaven were excellent as well. There is no beach, just man made beaches for the lagoons surrounded by natural rock. The grounds were beautiful. We were here in January and unfortunately the weather was not great but the spa and nightly entertainment made up for it. We were on the adult side but if you have a family this place is amazing. I would have definitely taken my kids when they were younger and even will now. Lots of kids entertainment and things to do. Again, we were here in the winter both times we came and not overly packed. I gave 4 stars because of this.... If it was a busy time of year I may feel differently about the pools and no beach. it could easily feel real crowded. Relaxing fun trip overall
