The hotel

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar epitomises a delightful experience. This adults only hotel, right on the beachfront, will allow you to relax without having to lift a finger. Don’t forget to stay hydrated and visit the four bars the hotel has on offer, including a swim up bar, so you don’t even need to leave the pool. But, if you did want to venture out, you could go golfing at luxury golf course Cinnamon Hill or get up close and personal with the local sea life by visiting the hotel’s diving centre. Get to know the two sister hotels, Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites and Iberostar Rose Hall Beach, as you have full access to their facilities and restaurants. Meaning you are free to indulge in a further ten other eateries across the complex, and numerous bars.

295 suites. All rooms have air-conditioning, TV, WiFi, mini-bar, safe, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, tea/coffee-making facilities, bathrobe and slippers, a terrace and a whirlpool bath. Standard Suites have a garden view with 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

All Inclusive of: buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner and unlimited à la carte dinners. Snack bar between lunch and dinner, 24-hour room service menu and breakfast menu in the room. Bar and nightclub service with domestic and international beverages and a mini-bar that’s restocked daily. Swim Out Suites have direct access to a semi-private pool, and also includes features such as in-room check-in, pillow menu, and turndown service, with 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults. As an added bonus these suites include butler service.

Oceanfront Suites are located on the beachfront, and also includes features such as in-room check-in, pillow menu, bathrobe and slippers, welcome amenities, and turndown service, with 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults. As an added bonus these suites include butler service.

Presidential Suites are located on the beachfront with ocean views and a whirlpool on the terrace, as well as other additional services. Features a living room and kitchenette, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults. As an added bonus these suites include butler service.

6 restaurants (5 specialty restaurants: Japanese, Gourmet, Surf & Turf, Jamaican and Italian and 1 buffet) plus 4 bars. Plus access to other eateries and numerous bars at Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites and Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach.

Leaving today so wanted to give a review of Joia Rose Hall. All in all we had a fabulous week. The food, service and staff are all top notch 👌. This was my first experience with having butler service and it really was lovely. Our day/evening butlers were super attentive to our needs, professional and always so cheerful. Shout out to Christopher, Glen, Rushane Berris and Jaimie ❤️ SP beach area was my favorite spot at this resort. Such a great location on the beach, water was nice, beach beautiful and the staff were unbelievable, especially Donovan, Melissa and Daica. Around the pools we again enjoyed fabulous staff and service from many including Travis, Tyanna, Kimesha and Renee. The only downside to the pool area is that horrid chair reservation game. You head out at 8 or 9am and the majority of the chairs are all taken by towels. Some days nobody ever showed up to these "reserved" chairs so that definitely was frustrating. We spoke to several staff who have said there are big renovations starting this year which will include the addition of more pools to turn the pool/beach facing ground floor rooms into swim out rooms. Can't wait for that as it may help resolve the lack of seating around the pool. I will definitely be going back! Read less

Greeted at the front door by resort staff with friendly smiles who collected our luggage. Escorted to front desk for seamless check in, and offered a delicious island drink. As our room was not ready, we were offered a very spacious change room located in the lobby so we could access the beautiful pools and Jamaican beach. Service was immediate for drink order by attentive staff. There is no shortage of activities at both at the resort/pool/beach. The food is amazing with seafood galore. There are several sit down restaurants however, the buffet was by far a favorite. Our room was upgraded upon check in and was spacious with a beautiful beach view and private balcony. On our second day, we noticed the room was not up to Iberostar standards. The shower floor needed a thorough cleaning , and there were several areas of the room that needed attention like dirty grout and mold in several areas. We notified our butler of the concerns, and we were indeed told this was not up to Iberostar standards. Moved to another room, which was superb. Very thankful our concerns were addressed and resolved quickly. Overall, gave a 4/5. We will definitely visit again, as the people, food and atmosphere are just amazing. Read less

I have stayed at Iberostar Grand resorts in other places and was highly impressed with the service, cleanliness & amenities & so I was expecting the same. 3 stars was generous. Our butler, Orain saved it from being a 0. The restaurants do not accept reservations. The evening buffet is not always open so you are outta luck when they say “come back tomorrow “. This is not good business for a “resort”. The other big issue- time share sales. Priority (for dining and other services) is given to time share owners which appeared to be very few while we there. This hotel is not located on a prime beach. I hope Costco Vacations takes a long look at promoting this “hotel “. Read less

This resort was beautiful. Friendly staff and food was very good. Our Butlers Christopher and Rushane were extremely helpful with making our stay even more enjoyable. The beach was beautiful. A great walking beach. They kept it very clean.
