On arrival our room was not ready. After travelling for 14 hours we were not offered a shower room to freshen up. The all inclusive minibar in room had the basics and another price list for wine etc. Restaurant reservations were cancelled without notice or reason. On one occasion the le Marche buffet restaurant was closed to all inclusive guests because a group of 100 people demanded kosher food. An alternative buffet was offered in the Chop sticks restaurant. This was an insult. The food was sub standard and covered in flies. One of the restaurants, Hasu is not covered in the all inclusive package. It is very expensive. The bar and restaurant service was a bit hit and miss.you place your order with one person, who passes it on to another person. After a considerable amount of time has passed a third person brings your drinks. All inclusive guests all this was a very disappointing stay. Long Beach is definitely not five star. Anyone wanting five star service book elsewhere. Read less

My husband and I have just returned from a glorious week at Long Beach. We have only praise for the resort, the staff, the facilities and the food. The staff are all so lovely and helpful. We found that every one of them went the extra mile for us and no request was too trivial. The room was spotless, magically cleaned as soon as we departed for breakfast and the grounds are constantly being swept, trimmed and tidied. Jenny, the nurse, was so helpful when we had a medical challenge – and followed up to see that it had been resolved. As we are kosher eaters we went prepared for challenges and the same boring food every day – how wrong we were! From the first night when the lovely Marie in Sapori introduced us to Chef Raya, the food was an absolute highlight of our stay. We cannot thank and praise Chef Raya enough – he went the extra mile every single night to provide us with delicious kosher gourmet fish dishes, salads, vegetables and desserts way beyond our wildest expectations. He even packed us a hamper to take to the airport on the day we left. Apart from the magnificent beaches and facilities, Chef Raya was definitely the highlight of our stay! Special mention must also be made of Chef Ramsing at breakfast, who arranged eggs for us in a kosher pan and who went out of his way to see to our needs. A special thank you also to Anastasia who knew our coffee orders by the second day we were there and met us with her special smile every morning. It was the most wonderful week which we will never forget. Read less

We have just returned from an 8 night trip at Long Beach which was honestly one of the most amazing hotels we have stayed at. We were in Room 512 which is a Beachfront Suite on an AI basis and from arrival to departure, we could not have asked for more. The scenery was absolutely stunning and the resort was spotless. The staff could not have done anymore for us and you can either be as lazy or active as you want to. We ate in Le Marche (shorts and t-shirts fine for the evening) along with Tides and Sapori both for lunch and dinner - the service was exceptional in all restaurants including Le Marche which was honestly one of the most high quality AI buffet I have experienced. Even though the hotel was at full occupancy, you could get loungers at anytime of the day and each canopy has a call button where the waiters will attend to you throughout the day. A big shout out to Kunal and Lindon who were very quick and always asked us if we wanted anything even if we hadn’t called them. Chetna in Le Marche was also lovely and the staff work hard to make sure everyone has a fantastic break. The hotel is situated on the North East Coast and there was a constant breeze which was very welcome given the temperatures were a constant 28 - 30c. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to couples and families and we are already looking at returning next year to this beautiful island. Read less
