Sailesh in the main restaurant is such a fantastic waiter, Rixos should be proud to have him represent the company. He is professional, attentive and remembered our likes… he has helped to make our holiday truly special and memorable…. Thank you Sailesh and thank you rixos ❤️

It had an adults pool where staff never let us run out of beer or cocktails. At 11 o’clock they had a fitness class for half an hour, which I never participate in until I met Amal who made me feel comfortable and made it fun in participating in the class. The owners and the managers should feel so proud of the staff they had selected for this hotel. They all seem happy and proud to work here and couldn’t do enough for you. Read less

Choose this hotel as slightly smaller than the Atlantis which is where we’ve always stayed when in Dubai and needed a different hotel for family reasons. Three bedroom suite is massive, big bedrooms, clean, communal space and ideal for what we were looking for. Also competitively priced when compared to multiple rooms elsewhere. Food, drink selection, facilities excellent (what you’d expect) but what stands out about this hotel is the service. Everyone goes over and above for you. The WhatsApp chat is a great option for any help you need and anything you ask for is sorted without any question. I don’t think we’ve stayed in a hotel which has provided consistently superb service. I would totally recommend it and will most likely book it again for our next trip. Read less

I stayed here with friends for 4 nights in January. It was no more than 24 degrees every day. Rixos the Palm is a superb hotel. Its location is furthest away on the Palm, at the end tip of the top palm. Because of this, the location is peaceful but bear that in mind if relying on taxis and public transport. Dining: I had the ultra all inclusive package and it really WAS ultra & worth the money. The a la carte restaurants are all included & you can eat in them as often as you like. I advise to pre book. The steakhouse & Italian a la Carte were my favourites. The pineapple dessert in the steakhouse is a real showstopper. The wine selection would satisfy any wine connoisseur. The buffets were exceptional. I'm well travelled, having stayed in some incredible places around the world, and I'd rate the buffets here at the Rixos up there with the best. You have a choice of buffet restaurants, all serving the same, but one quieter and best suited for adults. The choice, quality & presentation of food is exceptional. Something for everyone here. The dining areas are also pleasant & clean. Bar drinks are good & presented well with garnishes. Cocktails are made using proper fruit juices and pack a punch if you like your cocktail boozy. You won't be disappointed by the drinks here as often is the case at all inclusive hotels. I loved the 24hour cake stand where you can grab a treat (or two) - also included in the Ultra package. There's also a novel fresh fruit shack beside the main pool serving bowls of freshly chopped fruit of your choice and an ice cream cart! Again, all included. Top marks for the dining experience! Pools: There are three pools, one of which is adults only where you can engage in a variety of fun activities such as underwater trampolining, underwater pole dancing, and paddleboard yoga. Shame the swim-up bar was situated in the pool popular with children. You can swim in the sea in marked off areas (which we learned was the Persian Gulf). It was rather cold in January. Rooms: We stayed in a two bed family suite overlooking the sea, and it was typically plush, modern and enormous. We felt like millionaires! Two bedrooms, three bathrooms, lounge & dining room, walk-in closet, luggage room and triple long balcony. The bathrooms have complimentary branded toilettries (L'Occatine) including shampoo, conditioner, moisturiser, shower gel & soap bars with the added luxury of complimentary toothbrushes, exfoliators, shower cap, earbuds, cotton pads and comb. With all this, there's no need to pack all your own bathroom amenities. The mattresses were super soft and you sunk into them. I've never felt so comfortable in bed. The fridges were stocked with complimentary chocolate, crisps, soft drinks. There's also tea/coffee amenities. The rooms were exceptional and scored top marks from me! Plug sockets are UK ones. No need for adapters if a UK traveller. Hotel grounds: The hotel is one of few on The Palm that actually had some foliage and trees meaning it attracts wildlife. I enjoyed being surrounded by the chatty birds. The grounds are large and spotlessly clean. The grass around the pools got muddy when wet however I noticed on my last day groundsmen started removing it so possibly replacing with a more appropriate flooring. There's a few steps leading down to the pools and beach but there is a wheelchair ramp. Hotel felt safe with security. The complex is big. There are a few shops in reception area selling artwork, perfumes, clothes and souvenirs. There's a ghastly children's crèche/play area situated right on the beach. This isn't the newest hotel on The Palm however the grounds are beautiful and rooms superb & it's location is cute. Guest experience: This is a family friendly hotel so popular choice for families with young children. Note this if you prefer adults only hotels (as I do). On the large it was OK but perhaps the hotel could consider adults only dining areas to enable some escape from noisy, crying children. Staff helpful & mixed nationalities. There's no pushiness selling stuff and no forced fun upon guests. Travel tips/suggestions: • go to the Aura Skypool for sunset. It's adults only. As its a 360° pool it really doesn't matter which view you book in terms of loungers so opt for the cheaper ones. • local taxis are cheaper than Uber. Ask reception to book one for you. Taxi fair from Rixos to the main mall (fountains/Berj Khalifa) was £25 each way. • we were unsure what to expect around strict rules in Dubai, but found it absolutely fine. • take the magical lift to the top of Berj Khalifa later at night when it's quieter, costs £40 pp. Tallest building in the world. • Rixos guests get free tickets to the Aqua Park at the Atlantis. • Urla restaurant had the best fountain and Berj display views but a meal/drinks for 4 people cost £1k and the food was mediocre. • prebook a la carte restaurants. • Mediterranean restaurant least enjoyable food wise but nice view on the beach overlooking the Dubai skylines. • quieter sun loungers are on the beach. Around the pools loungers are crammed together making it quite unpleasant with the noise. • the Sports Bar had live entertainment most nights and the drinks were great. Premium cocktails/beers etc. • airport was cheaper to buy souvenirs than the mall. I had a great stay here at Rixos Palm and would recommend it. Highlights were the room & amenities, the food & beverage experience. If I go to Dubai again I'd seek a hotel primarily for adults but that's a personal preference. Read less
