What can I say, I’m sat writing this review whilst waiting for our sea plane transfer back to Mqle airport to take us home & my husband and I feel so sad to be leaving. It has been a 10/10 honeymoon & we couldn’t have wished for more!! When we arrived at Male airport we were greeted by staff from Siyam World who took our bags and helped us check in for our sea plane transfer. We then took a short bus journey to the airport for the sea planes. We were told that we had to wait for other passenger, so our transfer to the island would be around a 3 hour wait. However we waited in a Siyam World lounge, where there was complimentary food , wash room, comfy seating and a neck and shoulder massage (which made the time go quick). Our transfer ended up being an hour early which was good. The sea plane transfer was an amazing experience. When we landed on the Island we were greeted by the staff of Siyam World who were so friendly, warm and welcoming. We were then greeted by Limbu who was our ‘ambassador’ for our stay, where she helped check us in, explained everything to do with the resort, including how to use the app for the island & where everything was. Limbu was wonderful and used WhatsApp to communicated everything for that specific day & for our departure plans. The resort itself is 10/10. It’s absolutely beautiful, so clean and just so well ran. All the staff really stood out as genuine, kind people who couldn’t do enough for us. We really enjoyed meeting all the staff and getting to know them. They really are what makes it such a special place and their hard work to keep the island clean and tidy didn’t go unnoticed by us. We stayed in a sunset villa which was beautiful. Our room had its own pool which was also lovely. Then we had a very short sandy walk down to the beach. Our room was clean, bed was comfy, TV had Netflix, iron and ironing board in room, mini fridge- which was restocked daily at no charge (Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, fruit juices, chocolate). The man who did our housekeeping was so lovely and did a wonderful job our whole stay and made sure we always had clean towels everyday. The food was 10/10. Breakfast- there were 2 places to eat for breakfast, buffet style, lots of choice. Lunch & snacks- there were multiple bars and restaurants around the island that provided lunch. Also one of the places for breakfast was again a lunch buffet (Tempo). Dinner- Tempo served a buffet dinner every evening, with a different theme each night. But there were also al a carte restaurants all over the island which you could book through the app. My advice is do that as soon as your ambassador shows you how to use the app. As we did it later on during our arrival and the only times left were between 8pm-9pm, which we weren’t bothered by, but some may not like to eat this late. Several of the Al a Carte restaurants are included in the WOW all inclusive where you get a 3 course dinner, but I think there are 3 which are not included but you get a 50% discount. During our stay we only tried the restaurants included in our all inclusive, but they were wonderful, the Thai was our favourite! The food was also fresh, hot and really tasty. The choices are endless and we felt like all we did was eat and drink!! The cocktails at mint bar and good vibrations bar were our favourite. The staff would often make us a cocktail to try and they were delicious. All the alcohol is also branded. We’ve been told in the past going to the Maldives would be boring, however this is far from the truth. We had something to do constantly, whether that be, hiring bikes to cycle around the island ($15 per day), excursions, visiting the animal sanctuary, activities taking places on the island that day, water sports, snorkelling or just simply relaxing on this idyllic island. We honestly couldn’t have wished for a better stay, everything was perfect and faultless. If you’re thinking of booking this wonderful place, do not hesitate. I could talk endlessly about what a wonderful, beautiful island this is, so thankyou for a wonderful honeymoon Siyam World ❤️ Read less

We spent seven unforgettable nights at Siyam World, and it was truly a dream vacation. The resort offers everything you could want: activities, playgrounds, and organized parties. However, the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly our ambassador, Happy. Without him, we might not have fully discovered the island’s hidden gems. Did you know Siyam World has an underground wine cellar called Barrique? We had no idea until Happy told us about it. It’s located at the Spanish restaurant Andalucia, where you can reserve a table to enjoy tasting menus paired with carefully selected wines. The location is beautifully designed and intimate, perfect for wine lovers. If it weren’t for Happy, we might have missed out on this unique experience that deserves more attention. The resort offers a variety of cuisines, with a focus on Asian dishes, but also plenty of options for those who prefer other flavors or follow vegan diets. There’s also an extensive selection of beverages, including expertly crafted cocktails and drinks to suit every taste. Happy was truly the soul of our vacation. My husband and I love connecting with people, joking around, and soaking in positive energy, and we both agreed that Happy is our ambassador at heart. He answered all our questions, kept us company, showed us the island, and even gave us a tour of the other villas to help us decide what we might want for our next stay. As Happy often said, Siyam World is a paradise—and it truly is! We stayed in both a Water Villa with Slide and a Beach Villa, and each was a unique experience. The Beach Villa felt more spacious and private, while the Water Villa had fewer mosquitoes and gave us the amazing opportunity to watch sharks and stingrays from the terrace at night. The resort also takes care of every detail. Umbrellas are provided in case of rain, beach towels are available at all pools, and insect repellent is offered to keep any discomfort at bay. However, it’s good to know that the à la carte restaurants are quite busy, so reservations are essential. Each restaurant keeps its capacity limited to maintain impeccable service and handle orders smoothly. Pro tip: Keep some cash handy for small gestures of appreciation, like tipping the waitstaff or housekeeping. They are exceptional people, and showing gratitude for their efforts will surely make their day. All in all, Siyam World truly exceeded our expectations. With the incredible support of our ambassador, Happy, we’re already looking forward to our next visit to this paradise. Read less

This was our second visit to our favourite place in the world and already looking at when we can return. My children absolutely love it too. The turtle safari was their favourite experience again and it was even better this time! The Kidz Carnival was such fun too, we loved it so much! Another highlight was the evening pool party at Jungali (much better than the day time one IMO) Our room was cleaned twice a day and beds changed twice too which was a lovely treat to come back to and the cleaners couldnt do more! I love that there are fresh towels at every pool, everything just feels easy and I’ve never felt as relaxed on holiday ever. If anything is an issue, you have a dedicated ambassador who will rectify it instantly, we have had the pleasure of having Hannah as our ambassador in 2024 and Naffaz in 2025 and both responded instantly to any messages. One thing we would change is that Ship Wrecked now has a buffet for the pasta dishes, I can imagine that being a nightmare in peak season as there was a small queue when we went and it took a while to be served (but its the best pasta!!) Now I just need a good deal (in schools hols this time 😮‍💨🥴) so we can return ASAP! Read less
