The resort is quite small and offers 38 rooms all are well appointed and almost directly on the beach with cabanas available directly on the beach, but honestly, there’s not a bad room. This resort is very quaint and tucked away but next to a very large Five’s family resort, which is extremely noisy if you venture over there. The five beachfront offers a lovely private, extremely quiet pool, its own restaurant, and bar. The restaurant is excellent for breakfast at the Five beachfront and they serve lunch daily grilled at the pool with excellent choices, where they come Shay‘s lounge to Shay‘s lounge with those days offerings in which they grill. Our offerings for the week we were there were grilled ribs, wings, a huge array of fresh fish, Langostino’s, and shellfish. All items were grilled to our order and delivered right to our Shay’s lounge with silverware on China and linen napkins. What a great treat! The restaurant is also open for lunch at the beachfront and the menu offerings are not the same as the grilled items at the pool, but the menu is ample. The menu at the restaurant at the beachfront for dinner leaves a lot to be desired, but it’s fair enough if you don’t feel like walking over to the noisy side or riding. you can utilize the family side of the fives via golf cart or walk down the beach to get to the resort it offers sushi, Italian, French, Thai, or dinner buffet. We found the restaurants to be extremely noisy. The food was fair and very difficult to get a reservation and over an hour and a half wait if you just showed up. Now to the bar offerings; the liquor is all top shelf at the beachfront bar and handcrafted, cocktails, beer, wine, champagne, and a vast array of mixed drinks we weren’t disappointed in anything at the beachfront bar or pool service. The turn down service at the beachfront each evening was very nice, beds pulled back homemade chocolates in your room has a fully stocked refrigerator with beer, soda, sparkling water, bottled water and some snacks. If you want room service, they offer it most of the day and the late service is from 11 until 7 AM. They have a hotdog that is absolutely delicious. Now for the service and staff; they were on point you had your personal room attendant from early morning until late evening and they kept in touch with you sent you menus and kept you a bridge of what was going on every day through WhatsApp. So I suggest you load WhatsApp onto your phone prior to arrival so you can see all of the daily menus, activities, and what’s going on on the entire Five’s property. i’m hoping in the near future that the five beachfront improves their dinner menu at their private restaurant because it truly is a quiet and well run restaurant but the dinner menu to be honest is not good. The rest of the meals especially breakfast were excellent. All of the staff in this restaurant go above and beyond as to the rest of the staff at the beachfront to make sure that their guests have a five star experience. The only reason why I did not give it five stars is the restaurants leave a lot to be desired as far as selections. We may return this year in December if the menus seem to be different, but it’s worth a shot if you’re not big foodies like we are!
