The hotel

When you arrive at the front of the Soco House, you'll feel like you've been transported to South Beach, where vintage Art Deco architecture meets contemporary sophistication. The white and blue theme gives it a breezy, beach vibe and will have you chilling out on the sand in no time. Positioned in the island's leading tourist location, you've got shops, bars, restaurants and excursions right on the doorstep, but you'll have to drag yourself away from this stylish hotel first. The pool bar is the perfect place to chill with a cocktail, or indulge the senses at the spa with a massage - the choice is yours. The food is nothing short of exceptional, with an intimate vibe in the restaurant that is reflected all over the hotel - this really is the place to be seen this year!

Friendliest resort we have ever been to. Very civilized atmosphere. No messy buffets like in other all-inclusive resorts. Very good quality meals. No loud music around the pool, just pleasant background music. No sub-par evening entertainment but quiet and relaxing place. Amazing staff and incredible beach perfect for long swims.

We loved our holiday to St Lucia - such a beautiful island ! We are not a lover of big hotels with eat all you buffets so SoCo was the perfect boutique hotel for us . Meals are served to your table some of them were a little hit & miss but you have to remember you are not in your home country - There was cooked breakfast, egg Benedict , cereals , toast , fruit for breakfast, 3 course choice for lunch & dinner -the restaurant staff were all lovely & hard working as all the staff were !big shout out to Elouise who always gave us a giggle . Bar staff Charles - Jason & others but can’t recall names were great fun & reception area staff & manager were very friendly - the bars in the evening could be open a bit later . There isn’t a great deal of sun loungers so I think a few deck chairs could be swapped for loungers - nice to lounge after a day out . The room was perfect we had ground floor - ut was a lovely size it could just do with a few more towel rails to hang your towels . Short walk to the beach / hotel provide cool boxes -beers water etc to take down with you which is a nice touch . Turn right outside hotel to catch the water taxi over to pigeon island ( we booked ours through hotel reception ) Left to hotel entrance you always find Patrick the taxi man - he is a great chap who will give you a price & taxi you where ever you would like to go - he took us for the day to Marigot Bay where he waited for us & brought us back when we were ready to return . Few minutes walk to restaurants & bars which is great for an evening stroll . Friday is fry Friday street party - don’t miss it it’s an excellent experience . All in all it was perfect stay for us on a gorgeous island . Read less

Super disappointed in this place. Food was subpar at best. Service was terribly slow. And the hours to eat are very restrictive. There is only one restaurant and you have to make reservations for breakfast and dinner- only problem is we could only get 9:30 reservations for dinner or 7:30am for breakfast- which who wants that?? The menu is VERY limited and many times they are out of items on the already limited menu. The room was clean- the bathroom was not- and we never had hot water the entire time we were there. When I inquired about this I was told that I was in a “tropical environment” and did I need hot water. Ummm, yes I do. There are not enough chairs around the pool for the number of guests…..and many of the ones that are there are broken. There is a beach across the street where there are chairs for Soco guests to use, but the chairs and umbrellas are broken and falling apart. All in all, I would not recommend this place. I have never written a review before, but hope this helps someone else make a better choice when choosing where to stay. Soco is old and tired. Everything about it is old and tired. So if that’s your lane, you’re going to love it. Read less
