I stayed at this resort Jan 18 to 26. We booked with AC Vacations. Prior to the trip I emailed the resort to put my sisters room side by side my room. After 3 days they couldn’t accommodate even though the resort appeared empty. House keeping is very poor as they never replenish essential supplies despite leaving notes on the bed. The food was good but they seem to try a cater to every ethnic but their own. Overall nightly entertainment was great when dealing with the performers. The resort caters to the airline industry in a big way and they far exceeded the average vacationer. At least appeared this way when we were there. The beach is horrible and seaweed was never cleaned like other resorts do. The average person can’t swim there so if you have kids not the place. If wish Air Canada would at least say this on the review when booking on line. We found this resort expensive for the value we received. I would not recommend this resort unless beach/swimming is not important. They do offer free shuttle to a better beach but only Wednesday And Saturday. They should think of daily if they want to be a true contender with other resorts. I ‘ve been to Barbados 10 times and this is the first time I barely eat bajan cuisine so although the food was okay I give the resort 5 out 10 for food selection. Read less

Hotel was definitely a five star. But the fact that there is not a nice beach was very disappointing. Rooms are very spacious but not sure how well they are cleaned. My third day there they took my comforter and never replaced it. Food was good but again I expected more Bajan cuisine. If they want this Resort to succeed they definitely need to up… Read more

Surprised this only opened just 18 months ago. The building is just not maintained. That and the food really let this trip down. Honeymoon trip. Paid £6,400 for 10 nights in a Terra Suite. 15-26th Jan. The room was lovely. 2 balconies with furniture for lounging in the sun. Tidy, modern and spacious. The pool areas were okay. Always towels and beds available. They had cabana beds that you didn’t have to pay for/book which was a nice touch. We did notice some tiles falling off in each of the 3 pools, and just a general poor finish to work completed everywhere which we think prevents this hotel from being 5*. We also on a few occasions noticed drinks had not been cleared from the day before round the pool. The maids came every day and tidied and cleaned the room. We had no issues with this. Left valuables in the room that weren’t moved an inch each day. The food we found really bad. No matter what, how how it was cooked, the chicken was dry. Quite limited options, lots of fish. The hotel did put on a great spread for Errol Barrow day, and had dancers, fire breathers, performers and bands on. It showed us they could do great food… so why was it so poor every other day. The service we never had a problem with. We are British and I think it’s the same we would receive anywhere in Europe which is to the standard we expect when individuals aren’t working for tips. We have been to America lots of times where the service is to a much higher standard but of course there is a reason for that. We only had 1 server on the verge of being rude and that’s just because she didn’t see us and let us waiting a long time. The hotel put on shuttles to towns which is easy to boom and well organised. Carlisle bay is really worth visiting and then you can walk to Bridgetown from there. Ultimately, for us, it’s the food, cleanliness and lack of maintenance that let the trip down for us and prevents this hotel from being 5 star. Read less

Attentive staff. Luxurious rooms. Good drinks at the bar and great food all around. There was a bit of molding on the ceiling of the bathroom but the room was otherwise immaculate. Honestly, just don’t stay here. It’s such a shame to be writing this review because the staff on the whole were fantastic. The grounds are well manicured and picturesque, the food for the most part was good. The cleanliness however, needs addressing immediately. This is an expensive hotel and I’d be surprised if I were told it had been fully cleaned since the opening. The hotel is covered in glass, all of which is dirty. I spilled water on the floor in our room and quickly wiped it with the towel to find the towel covered in dark brown dirt despite having just checked in. There is no attempt to keep the buffet area clean during meal times with food spilled all over the surfaces and floors left until the end of the dining period. There was Dust and debris all over surfaces in the room. It’s the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I couldn’t return until I knew this was addressed. Read less
