This was an excellent room for extended family. It was a suite with room for eight people to be comfortable sleeping arrangements. It had 2 full bathrooms, two separate bedrooms, and a living area with a television. There is an exercise room and a pool. The breakfast was next to the office and had more eating choices than one would think.

We went for our honeymoon and it was wonderful. We previously emailed to ask a question and mentioned it was our honeymoon and they said they made a note on the system. We arrived around 12 and was told by quite a rude receptionist we couldn’t check in yet as the rooms weren’t ready and to try again at 2. This was fine, our flight from New York was early, we just wanted to come and let them know and see if they could store our luggage whilst we got some food. When we returned we were greeted by a much friendlier and lovely receptionist, sorry I didn’t get her name. She checked and straightaway she noticed it was our honeymoon and was sorting us with a nice room. We had a 1 king bed room overlooking the pool and it was lovely! The hotel is undergoing refurbishment, they have re-painted the front of the building and removed the striped canopies. The bathroom also looked recently refurbished in our room which was stunning, although some of the towel rails are loose attached to the tiles. There is plenty of space in the wardrobe and a good size safe. There was plenty of space in the room to store our cases and belongings whilst we were there which was a lot different to the previous part of our trip to New York. The hotel is in a fab location, plenty of car parking spaces at a reasonable price and a lovely heated pool and pool area. Bus stop right outside and comedy club and restaurants just across the road. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. I liked you have to request housekeeping when you wanted to and this was done to a high standard. The breakfast was nice that it was complementary, not as much as we were expecting but actually this was plenty enough for breakfast as portions whilst eating out in the day were so big so we didn’t need much in the morning anyway but it was nice to get a bit of food and drinks before heading out. It didn’t seem like a best western, it was better and so glad we chose this hotel, thank you!! Read less

I booked this hotel for my LA vacation, and I had such a pleasant experience. The staff were attentive and the cleaning crew ensured my hotel stayed clean and neat throughout my stay. I had a suite that led to the pool, which was super nice! This hotel is in a great location and there are so many great things to do around the area. There are also a lot of coffee shops and restaurants nearby. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re planning a vacation to Los Angeles. The hotel is beautiful, the location is great, and the staff are kind and attentive. Read less

The Best Western Plus Sunset Plaza Hotel has a great location. The hotel is well maintained. When swimming in the outdoor heated pool guest are surrounded by bougainvillea plants buzzing with hummingbirds. Staff very helpful and friendly. Carlos the manager always very helpful. We have stayed there at least 5 times would not go anywhere else.
