Clean affordable hotel, horrendous service

First the good parts. This hotel is spotless throughout, the cleaning staff do a very good job. Also its location at the end of the strip means you’re not swimming through a sea of people. It’s eerie how abandoned it is at times, but also a nice break. 2 stars for cleanliness. Now for the bad. First there is almost no difference between the Conrad and the Hilton. I’ve stayed at both and the Conrad rooms are just a little bigger. The service is awful at both. They will do everything in their power, even by Vegas standards, to cheat you out of your money. Even though when I booked they said resort fees were included they added a second resort fee on top. Do I like resort fees? No. Do I find it absurd I’m paying $50 a day for WiFi (not even fast WiFi, that’s an extra charge) and a 5% discount at the spa? Definitely. Should there be two resort fees per day? Definitley not. When I complained they spent 30 minutes searching the terms and conditions to justify the charge instead of just refunding. The manager then refused to honor my Hilton gold $25 breakfast credit, and spent another 30 minutes trying to find a policy to justify that, which they eventually did on a disused Hilton site. When I pointed out that no guest should be expected to bring a lawyer and Hilton case law at every stay to get benefits he literally chided me, without a hint of irony, for not reading all the T&C fine print on the Hilton AND resorts world website. He then said that they actually weren’t a Hilton/Conrad and just used the brand so I shouldn’t expect any benefits. Now I’m supposed to also research their corporate history. Finally, to top it all off, he said if I didn’t like it I should leave the hotel and go somewhere else, at 10 PM on a Thursday. This was all to avoid giving me a $25 credit. Should be Hampton Inn Flag

We had stayed at Crockford's in the past and had a reasonably good experience; however, it was sold out for our dates this time so we chose the Conrad. We stayed during a very busy weekend when the rates were high. We paid about $800 per night for a suite. I noticed that during slow times, the same room is about half the price. Maybe if I had paid less, I would not have the same feeling about the service that is offered. The truth is, I expected the Conrad to offer something like 4 star service and in actuality, it's more of an In and Out Burger service level offering. It's a high volume, low quality product. There are over 1400 Conrad rooms at this hotel and they haven't figured out how to offer great service on that scale. It's a 3 star hotel at best. I would equate it with limited service hotel like a Fairfield Inn for example. They don't seem to be able to even staff the lobby bar at a reasonable level. The hotel doesn't have their own restaurant. The food and beverage operation is leased out to other operators that the hotel doesn't control. There's no restaurant for breakfast in a typical Hilton sense. There's no traditional room service. I don't feel the fact that it's Las Vegas should allow the brand to toss aside all the standards. I redeemed a Hilton American Express Card Reward Night that I had well earned in April 2024 upgrading to a Conrad Tower Suite once I arrived. That Night after walking into my Room and having been forewarned earlier that day by a Friend about the Slick Floors in the Room upon entering the Room and while standing up straight both of my legs slipped in the opposite direction causing me to do the Splits and it Disjointed my Left Knee. Approximately an hour later while Writhing in Pain on the Floor a Female Employee entered my Locked Room, Looked at me and turned around leaving never getting me any assistance. The next morning when I contacted Guest Services for some Ice Security responded and had me complete an Incident Report. I was Transported by Wheelchair later that morning at the time of my Departure and sought Medical Attention later myself. Security had told me repeatedly that someone from Resorts World would be contacting me and they never did. Hilton sent me a Survey to complete and likewise I never received any form of follow-up. Risk Management finally contacted me after I had emailed the Resorts World President and other Officials. I had to undergo 6 months of Evaluation and Treatment now having a Permanent Disability and having to wear a Customized Brace on my Left Knee for the rest of my Life. Needless to say this was a terrible experience and my worst ever. No Empathy was ever shown me. Risk Management has been Adversarial and recently Offered me $200 which is terribly insulting. You need to be very careful here. The Service I received at a Restaurant I ate at here was terrible as well as the Bellhop Services at my Conrad Tower Room. This Property has Major Issues going on which you can easily find on Social Media. Read less

I recently stayed at Resorts World for a week. I was in a beautifully appointed room at the Conrad. The room itself upon entry was immaculately clean, comfortable and luxurious. Housekeeping was also phenomenal in assisting with all my requests. A major thanks to the housekeeping team for the courtesies they extending to me throughout my stay. The gym is also very nice, but it can get busy. If there are conventions in town, it is probably best to go the gym after 9am. I would also like to compliment Abby at the gym who was so professional and kind. Thank you, Abby. Kudos also to Vivian at Nectar Life a retail store that provides personal care and skin related products; suffice to say that the dry weather in Las Vegas can severely impact your skin and Vivian provided me with tremendous advice! The casino itself is very nice; however, I spent most of my time in the Resorts World poker room. The poker room is easily the most beautiful poker room in Las Vegas, with excellent floor staff and dealers. Congratulations and a huge thank you to Leon and his team for making the poker room experience so very comfortable and welcoming for the players. Foodwise, I did not really go to any of the fabulous high end restos, but if you have the funds, Carversteak is worth it. For those of us on a more limited budget, I really enjoyed Mulberry Pizza and Geylang Claypot Rice (and a shout out to the literal bothers that work there-they both equally make delicious bowls, thank you). There is also a salad place where you can make your own salad that was very good and reasonably priced. In summary, the name Resorts World name is a perfect fit, as that moniker best represents the level of service and amenities provided throughout the casino and hotel! Read less

This is not a five star hotel - do not stay here if you’re looking for five star. Suggest Wynn or Encore.

This is 100% not even close to a five star hotel. It’s new. Staff untrained to five star level. Rooms are spartan with bad lighting. Beds are Westin quality at best. I’ve stayed at CONRAD LA and Nashville this is more of a Fairfield Inn. No Coffee in room LOL
