Whilst the location of the hotel was excellent and the room was comfy and clean if a bit dated there were a lot of negatives for this hotel. The elevators took forever and whilst I’m not adverse to using the stairs with luggage and high floors isn’t always viable.

For me the worst part of this stay was actually at check in , the rudeness of the staff member was despicable. I have been to many Hilton hotels around the world and the customer service I received here is the worst I have ever received.

Negatives: public areas need some serious attention, old carpets, scruffy lifts, FREEZING lobby with little heating that you can’t heal, cold restaurant, overcrowded lifts and gives hostel vibes. Loud people in the corridors a lot of the time. Dusting needed more attention.
I would not return or overly recommend but didn’t mind our stay.

When we came back, my mom’s room still wasn’t ready (we were not upset because the hotel was very busy and it’s also a busy time of year) so my mom and I decided to wait in the lobby. Dominique spoke to her manager and got my mom a room on an upper floor with a city view. We thanked her and told her it was our second girls trip of the year (my mom, my daughter, and me) and she teared up because she was close to her grandma and had recently lost her. We bonded and told her that we were so happy we worked with her. Dominique made our check in process memorable and started our adventure off on such a great note.

While the room and location of this hotel was adequate, I want to call out the superior customer service I received at check in. Melanie was very friendly, kind, and very efficient -- thank you for the good experience! Housekeeping was also good, and quickly provided me an extra comforter upon request.

Michelyn was awesome ! She deserves a five star rating for her great service. Thank you, we will be coming back for sure. We had a great time. Carlos in valet was great also and was very attentive to us with not only valet, but also luggage and directions !
