Wonderful location with friendly staff. We had a fantastic visit in NYC. However, the last night there I tripped on an uneven sidewalk on my way back to the hotel and landed face first. Shea was on duty that night and was a great help to me. She quickly located a first aid kit and stayed with me and my family until I was able to get to my room.… Read more

I so appreciate her compassion and quick action! Read less

Our rooms were on the 10th floor and did not have a view of the city but they were very quiet. Our room was a King bed and had a large bathroom with a walk in shower. Our daughter's room had a tub with a shower and the bathroom was pretty small. We didn't spend much time in the room so they were great for our 3 day stay. The breakfast has a wonderful variety, cereals, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, eggs, sausage, croissants, pancakes, coffee, tea etc. and wonderful Liege Belgium waffles the one morning. The room to dine is small and can be crowded but the staff is wonderful and cleans up and are attentive. It is a short walk to Macy's, and Times Square and if you like to walk it is very walkable. It's close to Hudson Yards as well. I would defintely come back to this hotel and recommend it to others if coming to NYC. Read less

We were greeted by a friendly woman (Shutney sp?) upon check in. She checked us in much earlier than we expected and waived the fee. The room was a decent size and comfortable. Breakfast was good and included in the rate. Jay, who was the cook, made sure we enjoyed the breakfast and was happy to get us anything we needed. He was super friendly.… Read more

Stayed here for two nights before moving to a friend's place on the third night. Here's what I liked: the free breakfast was one of the best I've had at an U.S. hotel. A large variety that changes to some degree depending on the day. For example, the first morning I ate there, they had croissants, the second day they had waffles instead. While the breakfast room can be crowded at times, the staff work hard to keep surfaces cleaned and the food stocked. Also, my room was quiet. (I was in room 406). The view out of my room as nothing at all (the walls of the building across the way) but the lack of a view also ensured that I would hear almost no external noise while I was there. Thirdly, the staff is generally quite helpful. A special hat's off to Anthony who works the night shift at the front desk. He was able to help me with my laptop that couldn't connect to the hotel wifi. Finally, the gym was ample enough to handle the number of people who showed up in the a.m. to exercise. There was a laundry room next to it, too! What didn't I like? Well, the room itself was small and nothing special. I was rarely in my room, though, so I didn't really mind much. If you are coming in on a train and want a hotel nearby ... I'd urge you to choose this one! Read less
