Irish charm a-plenty is what you get at the Fitzpatrick Manhattan. You don’t have to come from the emerald isle, however, to enjoy the airy rooms, personal touches and Irish food. The Fitz is your very own place to enjoy some pub-grub, Ireland-style, and a pint of that famous black stuff. Just around the corner from Bloomingdales, Central Park on the doorstep, and St Patrick’s Cathedral nearby — it’s safe to say you’ll be in a fine location to get exploring in a New York minute.

A friendly hotel

Friendly, helpful, and attentive staff including the housekeepers. They really make you feel like you are at home. The hotel is in a great location, located near the subway, and it is easy to get around via cab too. For shopping you are near several shops including Bloomingdales.

We recently stayed at the Fitzpatrick Manhattan with our two children (ages 10 and 13), along with another family and their children. After a long day traveling from Dublin, we received the warmest of welcomes upon check-in, which immediately set the tone for our stay.
Our room (901) was incredibly spacious, and the beds were some of the comfiest we've ever slept in. Housekeeping was impeccable, and the thoughtful touch of bottled water provided each evening was much appreciated.
After full days of exploring the city, we enjoyed unwinding in the bar each evening with a glass of wine. A special thank you to the gentleman from Kerry (apologies for not catching your name!)—your warm hospitality made us feel so welcome.
The hotel's location is unbeatable. We took the AirTrain to Jamaica and a quick subway ride to 53rd/Lexington, leaving us just a 10-minute walk from Central Park and 5th Avenue. It was the perfect base for all our adventures.
We’ve already started planning our return trip and can’t wait to come back! A huge thank you to Shane, Chris, and all the wonderful staff for making our stay so memorable.

in this time of Thanksgiving I am so grateful for the Fitzpatrick Manhattan and their staff!! I have been coming to this hotel with a heart since 2020 ! My husband has been patient at Sloan Kettering they have discount rate for family members. From Chris, the General Manager, Merima at the front desk, Brian and Ashim in bar and restaurant to all the rest of the staff, your concern and care have always meant the world to me. I’ve always appreciated the Irish flair and hospitality such as the Barry’s Tea and Irish breakfast that bring a little extra warmth when I’ve needed it. I have come to consider the Fitzpatrick a home away from home.

An Excellent New York Hotel

We just spent 5 nights here. It is a lovely spot. The staff are friendly and welcoming. They helped us get about NY. The bed was comfy and the bedroom large and well equipped. We also though it good value for money. Highly recommended. Also in a good location.
