Each year my friends and I celebrate for the holidays. Sistersgivemas is what we call it. We try to support a different hotel each year and this year's stay was at Hamilton hotel. Arriving the lobby area was decorated in preparation for the holiday. I'm not sure about the valet one of the guys wasn't very inviting initially, until I told him I needed parking for the night. His attitude changed and now I'm welcomed. Once I got to the front desk I was immediately greeted by a lady which later I learned her name to be Sabrina! She was in the middle of finishing with the last customer and asked my kindly to give her a second. She welcomed me with a warm eyes as we exchanged big smiles. Sabrina was kind and placed me que as my room wasn't ready. Later that evening as my friends and I finished dinner we brought a bottle of wine from the restaurant. Before heading back to our room we wanted to take picture by the tree to capture the night. Sabrina was still working and she didn't hesitate to take our photo opt for us. We chatted for a minute and later she offered us a comp bottle of champagne for our celebration. We were so grateful from the kind gesture. That alone was enough to refer this hotel. To end the story it's safe to say. We had an amazing stay and Sabrina was the icing on the top. Thanks Hamilton hotel. See you again in the future!

Hidden Gem

The Hamilton is a very nice hotel. My room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant was also very good. The food was tasty, and the prices were very reasonable. The hotel is a litter farther from the mall than other similar quality hotels, so I would call it a hidden gem.

Noisy. Noisy. Noisy.

Noisy. Noisy. Noisy. It's an otherwise attractive hotel, and in a great location. But the first night I had arrived late and needed sleep. My room faced the loading dock for the hotel, and the building across the way. For 2.5 hours, there were workers out there (I think for the neighboring building) playing the radio, whistling and singing, and dropping some sort of metal over and over again (maybe pipes or scaffolding). Even with the windows closed, it was as though they were in the room. The next night, the noise was not outside, it was in the halls. Other guests, apparently having been partying, were running up and down the halls, shouting to each other, and slamming doors and giggling. The third night my room had no heat, and it was 64 degrees. You can find better options.
