Hilton Toronto

The hotel

Hilton Toronto is seriously well-connected — it’s attached to the city’s popular PATH walkway, an underground labyrinth linking you to top downtown sights and forming the world’s largest subterranean shopping venue. If PATH’s 1,200-plus stores don’t satisfy your retail urges, you’re also an above-ground walk from hundreds of shops at Eaton Centre, along with that Toronto tourist must, CN Tower. They haven’t rested on their ‘location’ laurels here though: Hilton have made sure there’s plenty to return to after exploring, with a fitness room, indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna, and spacious modern guestrooms (some with complimentary Continental breakfast thrown in). If you’re just returning for dinner, you’ve got the steakhouse’s prime Midwestern beef and Tundra Restaurant’s Canadian styling and global dining to pick from — each chased with a cheeky post-dinner coffee from the hotel’s own branch of Starbucks®.

The staff was friendly and the hotel is well situated. After spending three nights, I woke up one morning with rashes on my neck. It turned out to be bedbugs, which was really annoying. Also, the room could have been cleaner. Please be advised.

The air conditioning in the room was broken. Was very cold at night when temperatures outside fell to -19. Called the front desk in the morning. Every time I stay in the city this is my hotel of choice and I continue to go back because the hotel always delivers exceptional service, clean and comfortable rooms and always leaves me wanting to return. I stayed at this hotel over the holiday season and the hotel lobby was decorated nicely, my room had a great view of the CN tower and the food at the Frenchy was amazing! I swear, best burger I have ever eaten - would recommend! Love the indoor/ outdoor pool and being able to use it in the winter is a great perk. Thank you so much to the team for another wonderful stay and I can’t wait to come back :) Read less

As a Diamond Hilton Honors member who frequently stays at Hilton properties, the Hilton Toronto stands out for its exceptional gluten-free accommodations. The Executive Lounge offers clearly labeled gluten-free breakfast options and substantial evening reception dishes, making it an excellent choice for celiac and non-celiac guests alike. My wife, who doesn’t follow a gluten-free diet, also enjoyed the food, showing there’s truly something for everyone. For Diamond members, the Executive Lounge experience is particularly outstanding, though I’m not sure how it works for non-Diamond guests. If you have this status, I highly recommend staying here. Beyond the dining experience, the hotel delivers consistently excellent service. I always email the chef ahead of my stay through the Hilton app, and once again, their team exceeded expectations. The rooms are comfortable, well-maintained, and the hotel is conveniently located just a block from Osgoode subway station, making it easy to explore Toronto. Whether you have dietary restrictions or not, the Hilton Toronto is a fantastic choice for its attentiveness and quality. Read less
