Hyatt Olive 8 continues to be my first choice for business or pleasure trips to Seattle. The location is perfect for walking to Pike Market, Capitol Hill, Belltown and Downtown. food options are really really poor. for that location and price, they should offer more dining options, in room or in restaurant. the rooms are fine. there are no bathtubs and the showers are basic. they don't even have a kettle in the room for some reason.

Bed was very comfortable, pillows excellent! Room was nice. Staff was amazing and helpful! Bathroom was spacious and lots of counter space. Hotel in great location close to convention center as well as Pike Place. Easy to get on I5 and go by car around Seattle.

After a great stay at the Regency, I spent the final two nights of my trip at the nearby Hyatt at Olive 8. From arrival to check-out, the experience was flawless. The location is an easy ride on the light-rail and just a few blocks walk from the station. I was welcomed up arrival and my status was noted. I was offered late check-out and daily housekeeping, but declined both since it was just a short two-night stay. The lobby is swanky and the staff were extremely friendly. The room I was given, a king room on the top floor, was absolutely gorgeous and spotlessly clean. In spite of the relatively modest size, there was ample desk space, a comfortable sitting area with a table, a bench, a cabinet with other amenities and an oversized bathroom. The room was incredibly functional for work and relaxation and had an overall cozy feel to it including the black-out blinds. The bed was extremely cozy with crisp bedding, fluffy pillows and a padded vinyl headboard facing a large TV. There were plenty of accessible outlets for charging devices, a robe and slippers, and even a sound machine for sleeping. The reusable metal water bottles and filling stations are also a great feature. My experience at the restaurant and bar were outstanding and reviewed separately. I thought the prices were reasonable with friendly and efficient service. For large conferences, my preference is often to stay 'near' rather than 'at' the conference venue, and I would absolutely consider a stay here the next time I'm in the area. The Hyatt at Olive 8 is exactly the kind of experience I look for in a city hotel. Read less

Awesome hotel perfectly located near the convention centre. We loved everything about our stay. Staff was friendly, room very clean and we really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and saunas. The resto serves ok food and there is a bagel shop in the lobby. I highly recommend.
