A+ Hyatt with great globalist recognition

Great rooms and solid Globalist recognition including a hearty buffet breakfast in the lobby restaurant that I would rank as one of the best Globalist breakfast offerings in the U.S. Unlike many of its competitors, this hotel is not impacted by the ongoing strikes.
Finally, the hotel was kind enough to ship back a lost item: both front desk and housekeeping should be commended for going above and beyond for guests.

Positive first impressions gave way to less favourable impression after use

Pros: Layout is nice, lots of flat surfaces to place small items, luggage, etc. Couch was clearly a twin mattress, but comfortable with a supportive bolster that made it comfortable to lounge upon. View from 35th floor was great. Nice hair dryer.

Pros: Layout is nice, lots of flat surfaces to place small items, luggage, etc. Couch was clearly a twin mattress, but comfortable with a supportive bolster that made it comfortable to lounge upon. View from 35th floor was great. Nice hair dryer.
Cons: No towel rods, only a couple of hooks. Not clean enough for me - crumbs and residue left on desk and chair, stains on the couch, mugs didn't seem clean. Complete absence of height adjustment on task chair, and it didn't have any wheels. Insufficient water pressure in the shower (good luck trying to wash long or thick hair). Only half a shower partition, so floor and bathmat were unnecessarily damp. Constant rolling noise above me, thank goodness I was so tired I was able to sleep anyway.

Great Staff, but Overcharged
Dec 7, 2024Zorba H
Though the staff were friendly and accommodating, the Hyatt overcharged my debit card by $400 dollars due to what appeared to be a double transaction. This is concerning, as refunds do not appear in customer's banks for 3-5 days, which could leave guests without money for their trips. A better card system needs to be in place.

Impeccable hotel with best breakfast in town with a huge buffet. Have now stayed twice and will only stay here from now on. Staff is superior and decor is stunning. Location is perfect as well being right across from museums and restaurants.
