The hotel

What a unique place! The lifts ascend diagonally up the pyramid wall and the beam of light that shines from the top can be seen from 10 miles up in space. Vegas gets hotter than Egypt in the summer, so you’ll appreciate the 5-acre pool area with 4 pools, as well as a new adult VIP pool* section. Check out the hotel's dining options too — there's Diablos Cantina, Tender Steakhouse, Backstage Deli, Pyramid Café, Public House, and The Buffet at Luxor. In the sumptuous Nurture Spa, you can enjoy treatments like botanical body buffs, Swedish massages and refresher facials. Blue Man Group is comedy, theatre, rock concert and dance party all rolled into one. You'll be closer to the action than ever before at the specially designed Blue Man Theatre at Luxor Hotel and Casino. It's an outrageous multi-sensory experience you'll never forget.

The rooms don’t have plumbing that drain and they do not have hot water. They will also charge you for nights that you do not check in due to a delayed flight. Finally, they charge a resort fee that they do not tell you about up front. The level of customer service is subpar.

The Luxor gets a bad rap but I was pleasantly surprised with the property/room. The only negative was they were not interested in upgrading my room as a pearl rewards member and the check in process took forever. Tower elite 2 bedroom suite is really nice. The staff is friendly and plenty of selections for gaming!! Walking distance one way to Mandalay Bay and Excalibur the other way!! Food court has sandwiches, burgers and pizza. Better food options at other locations.

NO coffee pot! NO mini fridge so u can't bring home left overs. No free channels for those nights u are just tired and wanting to watch something in the room. Housekeeping came into our room when we put the do not disturb sign out and took our towels and bath mat without replacing them! The toilet leaks water on the floor. They had the restrooms closed during breakfast buffet for more than an HOUR! There was a roach in the buffet bathroom and the buffet cost $130 for 3 people - the food was cold and generic! Food everywhere else is AT LEAST $25 a person per meal. Bars and drinks are everywhere but expensive and weak. The table games change the min bet for the evenings so bring thousands if u want to gamble but even if u don't gamble, like us, you'll still go broke trying to feed yourself here. The place is all about money. Even museums are of $40 a person! NEXT time ill save my money and find a holiday Inn with free breakfast. You gotta walk everywhere anyway. Read less

Shower wouldn’t drain, no one would come fix it, front desk staff said they wouldn’t charge resort fees but yet they did and now no one will adjust the fees. Stayed here 1 year ago and enjoyed it but this time was horrible and we will never return.
