In a city of fabulous excess where big is always beautiful, the 5,000-room MGM Grand takes the XXL biscuit. The world’s second largest hotel features a 6.5-acre Grand Pool Complex containing four swimming pools, three whirlpools, Vegas’ longest lazy river, and waterfalls. The Wet Republic Ultra Pool holds seasonal pool parties too. And that’s just for starters, as the MGM Grand hosts huge sporting events, top shows such as Ka by Cirque du Soleil, Virtual Reality and famous performers such as David Copperfield. On top of that, Hakkasan regularly hosts DJs Steve Aoki and Lil Jon. Peckish after all that? Then take your pick from a mouth-watering range of restaurants that satisfy pretty much any mood and taste you can imagine.

Steep daily resort fee

Room was good size and well maintained. But we were surprised with a daily resort fee of $50 in addition to the room charges. We were never informed about this when we checked in. We found out only when we check out the room. I wished the hotel was mot upfront and tell us when we check in . There was also a daily $20 parking fee charges.
Probably not a place to spend your money.

Just one step above mid tier. Old beds with no support. Pillows too thick. Room moldy and musty, no exhaust fans in bathroom. Wallpaper coming off the walls, water stains on the ceiling in the room. Non smoking floors still extremely smoky near the elevators. Wait for the elevators was pretty long and overcrowded, even when you have 5 elevators…

Don’t stay at Mgm Grand.

Worst MGM hotel that Ive stayed at. Water shutdown while I was taking a shower. Loud on going construction that starts early in the morning. Poor upkeep of the hotel especially the hallways where wallpaper is missing. Took way too long for the front desk to answer any calls.
Overall a good experience

As a whole, MGM Grand has very nice rooms, casino and restaurants. Morimoto was expensive but exceptional .
MGM Grand is convenient to most of the attractions and hotels on the strip.
Saw Cirque de Soleil's KA since we were staying there which was fantastic.
Definately would come back again.
Overpriced Buffet

Bed are slught hard to my liking but the pillows are nice and soft. Prefer softer mattress. Stay away from the buffet overpriced and choices are limited. It can also be crowded. The food court are overpriced as well. Went to grab a $22 chicken wings Nathan Hotdog it was okay but overpriced. I guess that's what you get in Vegas.
