Visited in November. Gave up saying hello to the reception and security on day one as they just blank you or speak to eachother. I was actually stood with a receptionist showing her some charges on our bill that shouldn’t have been there, and she started talking to another receptionist “Tammy I’ve done everything on that desk and a half by the way” discussing workload. The room itself was very dated and didn’t even have matching furniture. The bar has great views but is falling apart. Not allowed in the breakfast lounge for a coffee without buying the whole breakfast. Been back a month now and haven’t received the refund of what they charged our card on check in, and what was on the bill they emailed us on departure. No mention of welcome back as gold elite members etc no benefits acknowledged. Mismatchng bedside tables with no usb for charging. A disappointing stay, but location great

Great option for a trip to NYC
Dec 7, 2024LRNADUNEBoston, Massachusetts
We happened to be traveling during the week of the Christmas tree lighting, so hotels across NYC were incredibly expensive and we scoured to find a reasonable option. This one was a great solution - not as pricey as higher-end chains, but with a reliable name and a great location. Stay was pleasant.
Wonderful

Always a good to great experience. Especially at this crowed time of year in NYC. The staff are always kind and welcoming. Especially Tammy, Greg, Matthew, Davina ..
Rooms are just right for NYC. With 2880 plus nights at Marriott/Bonvoy .., Renaissance Time Sq is one of my Favorite's.

This is my favorite place to stay in NYC. I visit several times a year and love the quick and easy access to Times Square and subways. The staff is amazing, the rooms are always clean, and the concierge has helped so many times with my questions - their patience is commendable. As a woman solo traveler most of the time, I’m always cautious about where I stay and the safety and security of the location. I have never not felt safe here. The location is in Times Square and it’s so easy to pop out for some of the excitement and hustle and bustle - or even better in the extreme heat or cold - enjoy the sites from the hotel restaurant or bar - and sometimes even from your room if you get a good spot.
