I specifically booked a room with a separate seating area for my mtg here in Vegas. Saw a special online and booked Marra Room, double beds with separate seating area, a couch & a desk. I was in line @4:15pm to make sure I get the room I reserved for. I checked in with Front Desk Agent named Andrea. She did not even greet me not even a faint smile. Very rude condescending tone asking for my identification. I gave her my Driver’s License and credit card. And told me that the room I booked for is not available that she would upgrade me. I said as long as it has a separate seating area just like the one I booked for. Went to the room, this agent gave me a room on the third floor facing I don’t know what since I couldn’t see anything and just double beds. No separate seating area. She said it’s an upgrade. Well, it’s more of a downgrade from what I have booked for. I went back downstairs and I went to the same agent and asked for a Manager. I told Andrea in front of her Manager that she shouldn’t be working in front of public if she’s going to be rude to customers and she should at least greet the guest with a smile to welcome them. She responded “well you can be nice as well!” Rather than apologizing, this agent wanted to argue instead. Dee the Manager said it’s not guaranteed for the room that you booked for. I said I understand that but find something similar to what I have booked for. He repeated himself again it’s not guaranteed. I just said please find me a room with a seating area and double beds. Doesn’t matter where. I knew this conversation wasn’t going anywhere with these two. I have worked for a Casino in Vegas for almost 23 years having Hotel Operations/Human Resources/Conventions & Entertainment background. We do not settle for less when it comes to our front of house employees. They are the first one to welcome our guests and we want them to keep coming back. First impression is your lasting impression for any venue. PLEASE train your front desk agents and do a secret shopper to get them in line. I would train them for free if I have to!!! I’m only here for two days and have to go back to Europe for business but Sahara will not be on my next list. Hope Paul Hobson is reading this! I will definitely reach out on LinkedIn. I apologize for the long complaint but I hope you take this as a constructive criticism to provide your guests the best service in the future. Best of Luck! Josie Fernandez Read less

Check in was smooth, valet was professional, and bell hops were nothing short of extraordinary. Room was clean and comfortable. The wife and I really enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is pretty below average for being on the strip. The parkade is ok and close, but the check in, the hotel rooms and the casino itself are blah. They had a water main break for the first night of our stay and we had no water to drink or to shower/flush. The next day, they transferred us to the Stratasphere so we had to go through the check in process again. They waived our resort fees on our third day back and the water was up and running by the late afternoon. Overall, not on a busy or fun part of the strip and will not stay here again. Read less

We rode the Monorail to the Sahara, intending to go to the Strat Tower. The neighborhood was unappealing. It was trashy and didn't feel safe. The Sahara itself seemed pretty nice. There were few people in the casino. I did notice a lot of security guards around. I did not see the same on the Strip casinos. There are similarly priced hotels on the… Read more

All the staff are always extremely helpful and pleasant, there is a god selection of great restaurants especially (Chickie’s and Pete’s-awesome) Room was newly updated, clean, had a comfortable bed and a great shower. The Monorail is inexpensive and can have you at the strip in less 10 minutes. I am coming back in February for the Eagles and will stay there again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Read less
