Housed in a converted early 1900's church, this is definitely a cool and quirky option when it comes to Washington hotels. The Adam Morgans neighbourhood is known for being a 24-hour 'hood' if you like - but as it's developed over the years the restaurants, bars and shops have become seriously cool, so it's perfect for weekend breaks for couples and friends alike. Your rooms is made to feel like a home from home. with bespoke furniture and unique artwork that keeps each room different, and will give you that warm-fuzzy feeling (don't worry - there is aircon for those summer trips!). No Goodbyes is the all day hangout thats on hand to cure those cravings, from coffee to cocktails, and brunch to late night bites. There's even a record player and a huge vinyl collection on hand for you to pick your own soundtrack.

The new manger here P. Johnson is excellent. I've stayed at the The Line in DC every year for work. The linens are fantastic, the monument views are the best in DC, but in the past I felt some of the staff wasn't always helpful. But this trip, the new manager absolutely fantastic with her ability to gracefully and quickly resolve an issue I had. She is impressive, thank you! The ladies at the coffee shop are great too.

Cold water the entire stay. Kept being told it was fixed and it was not. Poor service. Disappointed in response of “we will tell engineering” yet did not get fixed nor reimbursed for our stay. After mentioning it several times, you would think it would be addressed or we would be accommodated. We were not.
Cool place but poor service at reception

Somewhat of a hipster place in a hip area of town. The hotel tries to be alternative and boutique but I found it too big and impersonal and the higher price range also attracts a not so hip crowd. The biggest issue was the receptionist at the checkout who was extremely rude and uninterested.

This is our 4th stay at the Line. We just love this hotel! The staff is wonderful and the hotel is quiet and so comfortable. The staff welcomed us with a lovely note and a plate of delicious goodies upon our arrival. I highly recommend the Line. We love The bar/ coffee shop in the lobby ❤️
