The Venetian Resort Las Vegas

The Strip, Las Vegas

Virgin rating

The hotel

Las Vegas excels at delivering the impossible in wonderful ways. Where else can you touch down in the Mojave desert and, within 15 minutes, find yourself being serenaded on a gondola ride to St Mark’s Square? A magnificent greatest hits of Venice’s architecture and canals located in the middle of The Strip, the all-suite Venetian is probably the most romantic hotel in Vegas, so let yourself be seduced. Wonder how you ever managed to stay in anything smaller than a suite before, enjoy a meal from one of the Michelin-starred restaurants, walk hand in hand down the Grand Canal shopping esplanade or party the night away in one of the many bars and nightclubs.

We have been going to the Venetian ever since it opened. Food, Service, Cleanliness, Staff, Value, Spa: all 5 star. The entire property is spotless, which is a testament to management. Special thank you to our amazing Casino Host Zack for always looking out for us and making each trip perfect and special.

I've been coming to this place for 20+ years ever since it first opened with tremendous fanfare and gondola rides in the Grand Canal. I've seen it in all its new splendor, I've seen it deteriorate through the years, then pick itself up and regain its original glory and I am very sad to find it, this end of 2024, in shape worse than ever. Everything is gone from the suites: from fine bath commodities (replaced by ugly containers on the wall) through pens and note pads and coffee machines and stationery. Yeah, call me old and reactionary, but a place with these prices should be a little more careful with its cost cutting measures. A few old, worn off and hard from many washes towels in the bathroom just don't cut it. No little courtesies for you, foolish customers who were hoping for early checkin in or later checkout or an upgrade if the hotel is not full or a higher floor or...or anything. It's all for sale. Sad. I am going to have to look for another hotel in this fabulous town. Read less

We had an amazing time at Venetian! Our host Rumi worked very hard to make our stay an exceptional one. She is always so friendly and patient answering all our questions. We will most certainly stay at Venetian every trip to Vegas...no where else!

Hotel looks amazing and has great shops/restaurants although the rooms are lacking. Rock hard beds, cotton candy like pillows that deflate into nothingness caused for terrible sleep the entire stay. Also there was a very limited selection of in-suite entertainment, the movies offered only included and handful of titles and although the TV has included apps such as YouTube TV and Netflix, the TV seemed to randomly turn off depending on how it felt.
