Public transportation (subway + AirTrain) takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. A 2-minute walk from Canal Street subway station.

Location: Very central location with easy access to all parts of New York City. Close to subway stations making travel convenient. Staff & service: Friendly and helpful staff who provided excellent service throughout our stay. Room: Nice accessible hotel room that made daily routines comfortable and convenient. However, limited toiletries provided (only one small bottle each of shampoo, shower gel, and conditioner for 2 people/7 days). Accessibility: While our room was accessible, the hotel itself presents some challenges for people with reduced mobility. Steps required to reach elevator and reception. Cocktail bar in the basement only reachable via stairs. Sustainability Claims: Despite claiming environmental consciousness and requesting guests to reuse towels, towels were changed daily regardless of hanging them up. This raises questions about their genuine commitment to sustainability practices. Read less

Location is very nice. Walking distance to sightseeing places and subway stations. However the room is super small, even the corner room is like a cage. Can't fit for 2 suitcases, especially for large ones. No way you can open a 28' luggage inside the room if you're travelling from international places.

Despite friendly staff and good location, our experience at the Walker Hotel was such a bummer. The kingsize room was cramped for two people. We could hear every loud car that passed by. The pillows were lumpy and the shower leaked water into the main room after we took a shower. We won’t be back.
